I think we may have found one of the main problems

What are you going to miss the most about working on the show? Without question, my friends. Me and Colin [O'Donoghue, Captain Hook]—our families have become very close. We moved just a block around the corner from him so our kids could play together and stuff, so, yeah, it’s going to be really tough to say goodbye to those friends. And all of the cast that I loved and still do love.

How did you break the news to Colin? Colin was my first phone call actually! Colin was on set and I phoned him and I was like, “Dude, I’ve got to talk to you.” [Laughs] “I’m leaving.” He was shocked. I don’t want to speak for him, but I think he was disappointed. We’ve got a real close friendship, and our wives are very close, and our children. It’s a big upheaval because we’ve only just moved to Vancouver in a permanent sort of way. I think it was a little bit of a surprise to all of us. But we’ll remain good friends, we just won’t get to see each other or work with each other.“

I hate to say it, but I was not the least bit emotional about Robin dying. How can they expect people to be upset when Outlaw Queen has, unfortunately, barely been a factor and then give them a huge, impactful moment? It felt so out of place. They deserved better.

I’m so very sorry this happened.

The fabric of OUAT will be forever altered.

Robin was an amazing, caring, valuable member of this show. 

He will be deeply missed.
