elsa had spent the majority of the month, staying at home and marathoning horror movies. it came as no surprise that the brunette had always loved halloween. although she much preferred staying home alone watching scary movies, she never passed up an excuse to dress up in a halloween costume and drink some apple cider.  throughout the night however she found herself hanging towards the back while watching other people dance and have fun. elsa was content to stay on her own until she caught a quick glimpse of someone that she thought she knew. creeping up beside them she let out a little. “ boo, “ before chuckling. “ you know i’m definitely impressed, your costume is great!  “ she noted with a smile. it felt like a relief to see a familiar face, even if that face was covered in fur.

While parties weren’t always Eddie’s thing, he decided to check out the one at town hall since the rest of his family was going. Plus he’d never turn down an opportunity to dress up. Walking into the town hall, he scanned the foyer for any familiar faces. However, he didn’t spot any. With a shrug, he walked into the dance hall. Spotting one of the dessert tables, he made his way towards it and grabbed a plate. After piling his plate high with goodies, he went to go sit down at one of the empty tables. It was then he heard a voice behind him, and he let out a chuckle at the attempted scare. “Hi El!” He greeted with a grin, setting his plate down, before turning around to hug her. “Thank you! I could say the same about your costume too! Your makeup looks really good!” While clowns didn’t scare him, he figured someone who was scared of clowns would definitely jump. “Are you enjoying the party?”

although it was still early in the night, zelda had already been feeling the effects all of the candy they ate leading the halloween enthusiast to realize they may have overdone it. “ oh my god,  i think i might be sick. “ they confessed out loud, not to anyone in particular but more of a verbal warning to anyone nearby. they knew chocolate and their stomach didn’t agree and yet they still choose to have a handful of it anyway. slipping into a seat towards the back of the room they decided to take a break for a little while before turning toward someone else who was sitting nearby them. “ how come you’re not enjoying the party? did you over do it on candy too? “ they asked sending the stranger a sheepish smile.

Ray probably should have known better than to scarf down a ton of sweets from the desserts table, but since he’d been busy working on an essay before the party, eating hadn’t crossed his mind. Now however, he was regretting his decision. While he thankfully wasn’t nauseous, his stomach was starting to hurt. As a result, he stayed towards the back of the room and hoped that his stomach would settle soon. But when he heard someone address him, he turned to face them, welcoming the distraction. “Not on candy, but yeah.“ He sucked in a breath, adjusting the teapot on his head. “The stuff at the dessert table was good but now I’m starting to think that it probably wasn’t the best dinner.”

after gathering her supplies chance had a small box full of her paints, brushes, templates and everything else she could need for her next project. one of the places downtown had just gone out of business which would make for a perfect place for her to paint a mural over. this was something she had spent a few months sketching and tweaking until it was finally perfect. and then she waited patiently for a spot to open up for her to place her work and now was finally the time. placing her box down she made sure no one was around and went right to work. she had just mapped everything out when she heard footsteps and looked over a brow raised. “it’s a bit late out to be in this part of town hm?” chance questioned hoping they would just go back where they came and leave her uninterrupted.

Eddie had no qualms when it came to staying out late, especially when it came to research for a new video. And having heard about one of the places downtown going out of business, he figured it could be a cool place to explore. However what he didn’t expect was to find someone else hanging around the building. “It is?” He asked, a look of surprise coming onto his face. Even though he liked to stay out, he didn’t think it was that late. “What’re you doing here then?” He asked, tilting his head in curiosity.

around the fall season, business at indigo moons always seemed to pick up. it wasn’t too much of a surprise considering halloween usually caused people to experience a sense of curiosity toward spiritualism. while he appreciated not being bored during his shifts, there was an annoyance that also came with having to deal with clueless patrons. he was leaning against the counter when he heard the bell above the door chime, glancing up from his notebook to assess the potential customer. his eyes followed them throughout the store, watching as they touched several items. “i’d appreciate it if you stopped touching everything. you’re getting your energy all over and forcing me to cleanse when you leave. if there’s something you’re curious about, just ask.”

Despite having passed by Indigo Moons, Melissa had never really had a reason to go in. That was, until now. Since one of her friends was interested in spiritualism, Melissa had figured that Indigo Moons would be a good place to look for a birthday present. However, she hadn’t realized that by examining various items, she was putting her own energy into them. “Goodness, I’m sorry.” She replied, turning away from a deck of tarot cards she’d been looking at to face him. “I’m looking to get something for a friend of mine, and I was thinking that maybe this deck of tarot cards would be good? She comes in here all the time for readings. What do you think?”

Normally Gary would have tried to apotheosize anyone who came near him, however the woman in front of him made him think twice. He couldn’t quite pinpoint it, but there was something…different about her. Something that would have made his stomach churn had he been human. “Hi, Gary Golstein attorney at law.” He spoke up, voice melodic as he introduced himself. “Is there something I can help you with?”

chaos was something elsa typically avoided at all costs, but overnight she found herself craving it. while she had been having her own fun, she had started to look around for people who were like her so that she could truly turn the town upside down. there was power in numbers. it was the very reason that she was drawn to the other, a sinister smile forming on her lips as her dark eyes focused on the other. “ i can tell that there’s something different about you … ” her words trailed off as she continued to study the other. “ you could help me by telling me what you are. better yet, maybe you could show me. ”

Noticing her smirk, Gary felt a smirk of his own forming on his lips. While he hadn’t exactly been nervous, he had wondered if he was going to have to fight her. But based on her words, he didn’t think that’d be necessary. “Oh, so you can sense it too.” He replied, the faintest hint of surprise in his voice. He hadn’t fully realized that people could tell that there was something off about him. But at the opportunity to show her what he truly was, his face lit up, his eyes glowing an eerie cerulean. “It’d be my pleasure.” Spotting someone across the street, he eagerly made his way over to them before taking their hands and performing a twisted tango. Shortly after, said tango ended with the sweet blue substance dripping from his lips making its way into their mouth before he snapped their neck with a sickening crack. Going back over to her, he waited a beat before they rose up as if nothing had happened, their glowing blue eyes matching his own. Turning to the blonde, he smirked. “What do you think?”

a sigh escaped boris as he held his pen to his small notepad — dated but a useful method to remember the information he collected. “okay, i’m not trying to pull your leg or anything,” he said, new york accent slightly thicker from his frustration. “but, i’m going to need you to honestly answer me — have you or anyone you know seen something running about at night? you may have thought it was a dog or a cat, but it was much bigger. it could have growled, have fur, maybe fly? glowing eyes and claws are a bonus.”

As Melissa listened to the question, a look of confusion and slight discomfort made its way onto her face. This was not what she planned on doing the second she stepped out of CCRP. But she also didn’t want to be rude and ignore the man completely. “Um, I don’t think so? I don’t really go out much at night, but I’ve never seen anything.” She replied, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “I don’t think my friends have either. We’re not really night owls.”

Since he didn’t have a pool, Benji decided to go for a swim at the lake. Upon touching the water, his legs merged into a tail and he quickly dove in, enjoying the feel of the waves. However, it seemed that someone else had the same idea as him. Looking up at the other male, he smirked. “Were you also thinking of going for a swim?” If so, it was a good choice.

Although Paul still didn’t like musicals or spontaneous singing, the thought of getting revenge on someone that had bothered both him and Emma time and time again was too good to pass up. As a result, he began to chase after the other, conjuring fire in his palm as he walked. He’d give her a tiny head start, for now. “You, no need to run away. You little run away. Cause the nightmare will get you soon.” While not much of a singer, his voice came out strong. It was less of a song to him and more of a taunt. A mockery of what she loved. “No need to contemplate, how deeply that you’re afraid. Cause your life is a waning moon.” He sent a ball of flame whizzing by her, just narrowly missing her.

When Melissa had woken up to a strange feeling, she’d brushed it off. It probably was nothing. But by the time she’d gotten to CCRP, the feeling was practically impossible to ignore. She needed to sing. And the Hive needed to feed. Singing softly to herself as she went up in the elevator, she noticed that her eyes were now cerulean. Upon reaching her floor, she went to the break room and made a cup of coffee for Mr. Davidson to have. However, when she got back to her desk, she noticed someone waiting nearby. “Hi!” She greeted cheerfully. “Is there anything I can help you with?” She figured the other was there to see Davidson, but she didn’t want to assume.

Considering Nick wasn’t quite sure what he could do to help his own situation, he decided that it might be best to try and help those around him. As a result he cancelled his classes for the day and in its place held office hours. That way if someone needed to process or wanted to talk or even if they needed actual help with the class, he would be free. Upon hearing a knock on his door, he looked up from the book he was reading. “Jennifer, hi! Feel free to come in.“ He motioned to the chair opposite his. “What brings you by?”

While Ray definitely believed in the supernatural, he hadn’t expected that making contact would involve becoming one of them out of nowhere. But yet, that was what seemed to be happening since he woke up with a pair of feathery white wings and the overwhelming need to find his charge. However what ne needed first was breakfast. Going into the diner, he sat down on one of the stool seats at the counter, and after flipping through the menu and ordering, he turned to the person next to him. “I guess I was both right and wrong about a few things.” He mused. “The paranormal does exist, and apparently angels are part of that.” And while he was very much a believer in the paranormal, he tended to lean towards angels being a work of fiction.

Usually the full moon was nothing special for Harry. However, tonight something felt off. He couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was, but he was sure of it. But upon leaving Pleasure Island to walk home, he soon realized what it was. For a second he stared at the moon as if in a trance, but soon after he felt a cracking in his body. Falling to the ground as his body began to shift, he soon lost consciousness. Upon returning to it, he noticed that he was far from Pleasure Island and instead in the woods. The sun was shining down, and although he couldn’t find his shirt or trademark fedora, at least his pants had survived…whatever it was that had happened. As he began to put them on, he realized that he wasn’t alone. “Damn, that must’ve been some night.” Although he’d muttered it more to himself, he was hoping that maybe the other had an answer for him.

Although being able to manipulate air was perfectly splendid in Flora’s book, the thing she was most excited about was the chance to get to fly. She’d always wondered what it would be like, since she felt that it had to feel different from flying in an airplane. And upon seeing that Ben also had wings, an excited smile lit up Flora’s face. “Would you want to go flying with me?” She asked, hoping he’s say yes.

And someone with a taste for murder. Which was why when he swaggered into Beanie’s, he was glad to see it empty, save for Emma. Going up to the counter, he shot her a wicked smirk. “Where’s your boss?”
