Writer Introduction!
Hey there, fellow book lovers and dreamers!
My author name is Storyteller Kara, but you can call me Val or V—whichever name you prefer! I'm so excited to introduce myself to you all, and I hope this helps you understand me a bit more!
The first thing I'd like to say is that I’m a genderfluid author who loves crafting stories across all genres, though fantasy is my heart's true home. I’ve loved fantasy for as long as I can remember, having grown up with it, and it has had such a deep effect on me. Since second grade, I’ve been writing all kinds of fantasy and other genres, and you’ll see them posted here on my page. As of now, it’s my tenth year of writing as a whole. For me, writing has always been a way to connect with others and explore worlds where anything is possible!
I’ve also been enjoying dabbling in poetry and other forms of storytelling. My current big project, The Dance of Destiny, is a first-person book, and it’s the only first-person story I’m currently sharing with the world. I’m always eager to experiment with new ideas, explore different writing styles, and push the boundaries of imagination. My stories tend to explore themes of destiny, personal growth—whether mental or physical—and the complex nature of human relationships, often through characters who reflect the diversity and depth of the real world. I even explore concepts like magic and my own interpretations of heaven and hell.
To me, writing is more than just a passion—it’s a way to connect with others and share my love for different worlds, experiences, and emotions. I want my stories to inspire readers to think, dream, and find pieces of themselves within the pages. There’s magic in the act of storytelling, and I hope to bring that magic into every book I write.
When I’m not writing, you’ll probably find me reading a wide variety of books or listening to music. Both of these are huge sources of inspiration for me and keep my creative juices flowing! I’m always on the lookout for new genres, new music, and fresh ways to bring creativity into my life.
