Y’all don’t realise how much of a goldmine Izzy Stradlin’s non-gnr works are for someone who has listened to guns n roses for a good while and always liked the parts most that reminded of american folk/country but it was always just short of enough to scratch that itch. Then you find his solo/juju hounds work and it’s all just root rock stuff which absolutely fucking scratches that itch so well in places so deep that you didn’t know existed but good lord they do exist
