I am not dead (yet). Lol. I haven’t updated in here because China has blocked Tumblr since last year. I know it is super late for me to give an update but well yeah. It happened. I bought a VPN but somehow that VPN only works on IE and my IE can’t open tumblr. What the frog. Anyways. I am still writing but it’s on blogspot and the content is more personal than this one... Let’s just say it’s not as filtered as this blog. While I always try to be unbiased and filtered and polite, my other blog is more... Raw. No filter. Curse words here and there. BUT. My usually non existent pride for my country beams with glee because Rhea wore a batik dress!!! Man, I root for Rhea. She is, like, probably the best titan so far. I can’t say anything else because at this point I am still too biased to point out the flaws of this book.
Panjin Red Beach in China is not covered in sand at all. The redness is caused by a type of sea weed, Sueda. It starts growing during April and May, then stays green during the summer, but starts turning vividly red in autumn.
The Red Beach is located in the biggest wetland and reed marsh in the world, and actually hosts the most completed ecosystem that can be found: the area has become home to more than 260 kinds of birds and 399 kinds of wild animals. You can find the endangered Crown Cranes and Black Beaked Gulls there, which is why the area is even called home of the cranes. (Source)

QQ is one of China’s biggest social media platforms. Think Facebook, Twitter, LINE Messenger, Whatsapp mashed up into this one giant app. It can do everything; private messages, group conversation, broadcast a message, send media files, documents, zip files, everything.
As if that’s not enough, it also provides emailing service.
If you’re a university student in China, you CAN NOT survive without this beast. Since this app does pretty much everything, when it comes to group convos for group projects or even class group, QQ is the first app to be used.
Since I was coerced into using this app, I loathed this app with all my heart. I associated, well, to be fair, associate this app with group projects (read: impending doom). Whenever I got a glimpse of that colorful penguin icon, there’s this burst of dread and anxiety behind my ribs.
I hate that app as much as I hate Dolores Umbridge.
Yeap.
The app does not have a language option however, in Baidu App Store, there is an English version for this app. I installed it but it was a complete, utter garbage. Instant uninstall. So. Yeah. No language option. I was so confused what was what at first.
“HOW DO I ADD YOU??” I bellowed internally.
“HOW DO I JOIN A GROUP?!!” I, internally, cried.
“WHAT DOES THIS STUPID ICON DO?????” I raged, internally.
I blame everything on this app. Bad mood? It’s because this forsaken app! Getting fat? Definitely because of QQ! Foolishly spilled water across my phone, sending it to short-circuit and broke? Because I installed the damned app, of course.
It was not my proudest moment.
Then again, I have so little of proudest moments.
The only good thing that came out from the whole ordeal is that I spend more time reading Chinese characters, so, yes, I learnt some new words.
One thing I like from the fact that it can send any kind of files, this app can ‘recall’ a message. Recalling a message pretty much means you took back whatever the hell you just said to the other person. Your message deleted permanently from your phone and the other person’s phone. Pretty much deleted from the surface of internet.
Accidentally sent a nude to your professor? No worries, just recall the message ASAP.
It kinda kills me how attentive and caring RDJ is with Chris Evans because Chris has some serious anxiety issues and Robert was the one who encouraged him to be Cap when he wasn’t sure (which he is now happy to say was the best decision he’s ever made in his life), Robert goes out of his way to make sure Chris feels comfortable, he even goes so far as to help with Chris’ unofficial physical therapy when he hurt his arm shooting the helicopter scene–he kind of really takes care of him in a big way
And that whole “asking about allergies before inviting fellow actors to dinner”. I mean, wow!
RDJ in general seems to take care of people a lot, he’s been in the industry from childhood and knows how to play a crowd but obviously with actors who didn’t have as much excessive exposure to the media, he helps them out, really does his best to be generous. And he’s so affectionate, he likes to kiss and hug and generally be all over the people he likes, he doesn’t feel the need to dial down that open physical affection, it’s honestly wonderful to see him interacting with people the way he does
