For no reason at all the Hidden Death reprint features Paul Orban art even though Orban wasn't commissioned for the magazine until the 40s.

EARLY Lovell typically uses crosshatching and solid blocks for shading. Orban also does, but he appears to use maybe charcoal / light pencil for shading. I'm not a traditional artist, so I'm not sure. This is a scan of a scan as well, so it probably looks way different in the og magazine.

I guess yeah The Shadow looks different there's that too.

why did they do this?

they always talk about applying the prophetics but never show proof which has me believe that this isn't Baldwin at all but is a seperate living breathing creature

this is the only photo of his makeup being applied

although bros just getting brushed like that can happen to anyone
