There needs to be more platonic love. Tell people they look pretty or handsome, make people smile just cause, tell people you’re thinking about them or that you love them, compliment them on their outfit or their personality, match their excitement about something because it would probably mean the world to them or give support to a random stranger online just cause you can, make people smile. Not everything has to be sexual and kindness needs to stop being mistaken for flirting. There’s nothing wrong with a little love.

People deserve to be appreciated.

Other ways to show platonic non-sexual love for someone:

•cook them a meal

•or bring them snacks

•being honest about how cute they look

•snuggles or hugs when they're sad

•respecting their quirks of habit

•learning about and working with their mental health issues

•just let them vent; don't give advice. just really really listen.

•making sure they got home safely after a trip

•also snuggles during a pop up thunderstorm

•letting them know you saw something awesome that reminded you of them
