I want to point out that this happened after Splinter's death. It's a time of grief for everyone, and the atmosphere is tense, even for the most cheerful member of the group. So it's clear that this behavior is completely out of character for Mikey.

I'm not sure if it shows, but I really want to emphasize the awkward and uncomfortable nature of the situation. Mikey, as we saw in the previous comic, may be seeking physical comfort from his brothers. However, he's also stubborn, likely influenced by the current environment and his emotional state, which is far from stable.

they also live in an Asian household. I'm not generalizing here- but from my own Asian perspective, there can be a tendency for people to be stubborn and hesitant when it comes to expressing their emotions. Even for someone like Mikey who craves any form of emotional support, it can be a bit complicated. But hey, that's just how life goes sometimes :)

anyway, I'd like to continue the story overall but I'm far too lazy to make another comic. this isn't a promise, but I might make a fic. who knows? hah.
