hawkins’ management has been at this for almost forty years, and now has multiple branches that cover artists of sorts! from musicians, to influencers, to authors, there’s nothing hawkins’ can’t make an national celebrity. they’re the best of the best, and they know it. everyone wants to work for them these days; and they used to be a little bit more exclusive, until martin brenner bought them out in 2018. 

hawkins’ management is still the best of the best, but they’ve spread out their work far and wide now. they even have training programs for gifted youths, if they can make it through it.

the sound of the book slamming against the table startles him, and he stares back at the girl wide-eyed, his brain being slow to catch up on what she’s saying at first. ‘ uh — spring break ! ’ he suddenly remembers. it’s almost hard to believe that just a couple of days ago he was happy to be spending spring break with mike all the way back in california. ‘ i’m visiting for spring break. ’ he repeats, to make it sound more believable. he’s not sure how to reply to her second point. it’s been years since his funeral, but it seems like something that’s still bothering her. ‘ okay. i can tell them to stop, if you want … ? ’ not that jennifer hayes crying at his fake funeral is even remotely important to him at the moment, but he’s trying to navigate the interaction at the best of his ability.
