"Great, I was wondering where I was dragged off too." She huffs out before her lips twitch into a strained smile. Perhaps she should attempt to be friendly for once.

            “I am most familiar with the name Rose. It is nice to meet you, Alcyoneus.”

He chuckles to himself and taps his staff on the ground a few times, a flicker of blue appearing for a few seconds, disappearing, and then a girl who seemed around the age of twelve appeared next to him, smiling. They both looked at each other and nodded, the sudden girl disappearing again without a word.

Alcyoneus held out his free hand to Rose, smiling nicely. What a gentleman.

| ♚ | — "Shall we? And, if you tell me your preferences, I could show you that of which would hold your interest Madam Rose."

Alcyoneus was, unluckily, caught in the midst of a sudden storm on his journey through another city in another world that the Shadow Realm led him to, since his curiosity decided to act up, and one of his Spirits just so happened to be in a bad mood and refused to talk to him. Unfortunately, that same Spirit was the only one who could return him to his world, and he was stuck here in his just barely outside of the normal clothing, and outside of the normal companions that resembled the elements. One of them was actually playing in the rain as he climbed the staircase to this apartment building, as it seemed.

The tie he was wearing now hung slightly out of his pocket to his blue jeans, collar popped thanks to his carefree Spirit. Just as he went to go up the last step with his left foot, his unruly, mischievous Spirit decided to tug at his shadow and pull his feet out from under him, making him nearly fall on his face - thankfully only on his shoulder/elbow area - with a hollow, yet loud ‘thud’ of wood. With a grumble and a curse under his breath, he moved to sit up, then sitting on the top step and watching the lively Spirit in the rain, not really minding the bruises forming on his right shoulder and upper arm.

As Dave sat idly in his apartment the loud thud of Alcyoneus on the stairs echoed in his ears. It took him a second to register the noise, at first thinking it was a crack of lightning. When he ruled that out, he went to investigate; not after he found a lighter though.

He walked leisurely into the hallway, heading towards the stairwell with both his items in hand. When he was the man he knocked on the wall beside him. “You need help or some shit? I haven’t seen you around here,” Dave blurted out, speaking calmly as he put more of his weight on the wall.

At the sound of someone knocking on the wood, the Spirit dancing in the rain stopped and turned towards him, cocking her head to the side, then smiling, straightening her head and disappearing, reappearing next to Alcyoneus who had looked up at the new face with a friendly smile, pushing up his glasses.

"No thank you, I'm quite fine.  Thank you for the offer of assistance though." He chirped, the smile brightening. The Spirit next to him heaved a sigh and rolled her naturally blue eyes, then waving her hand dismissively, stepping up one more step to be somewhat on level with the other male. "Don't worry about Master's big words and dumb walls, he's actually a HUGE dork."

"V-Virei!" He stammered, frowning now. The Spirit giggled and disappeared, followed by a huff from him. "Ignore her, she loves to make trouble." A pause. "What might be your name sir?"
