i also believe that the more time that drake lord swain remains in his human form, the more difficult it would be for him to shift back into his true self. until the day comes that he can no longer change back into a dragon. he will be stuck in his human form, for good.

What is Dragon Master/Drake Lord Swain's end-game? What is he hoping to achieve with his power, and what will he do after he has achieved that ultimatum?

His end game is benign, really. He wants to save his remaining kin, no matter what the cost. And, self sacrificial as always, he takes it upon himself to do something about it. He has given up much of what made him powerful in the first place, as he adopts a more human form ( therefor weaker and more vulnerable ). And so, he attempts to bridge humanity and dragon kind. His methods have enraged some of the older of his kin, those who are more resentful and proud. But as he understands it, they will lose the war. That much is decided; while dragons are more powerful, humans have the numbers. They have the weapons, and the means to kill them. If they keep fighting, they WILL die.So, if he has forged an alliance, he is not entirely sure what to do. He cannot return back to his home, as he is far too human to continue existing with the dragons. He would not be accepted there, as he has committed some sort of treason against his own. He cannot stay among humans, because he is far too feral still. he is able to behave, but he can never truly be tamed— he can never be fully human.So he attempts to continue working as an ambassador of sorts.

Dragons are cool. Swain is cool. Please tell us about Drake Lord Swain.

👀The way I have it written, he is an elder drake that has assumed the form of a human in order to communicate with them. His intent is benign enough, as opposed to canon Swain, who is incredibly sinister. Drake Lord Swain is powerful, imposing and regal— but there is a strange naivete to him as well. He does not understand humans, because he is not a human. But, as time goes on, he is no longer a dragon either. As he has been “tamed”, and has sacrificed much of his identity as a dragon, for the sake of communication and understanding. His intent is to be a bridge between dragons and humans, to forge some sort of understanding between them.Because, as he sees it, this is the last chance that dragons have at survival. They are now paying for their past mistakes, their oppression of humanity ended up in a backlash. Humans obtained the means to hunt and kill dragons with relative ease, and have driven them back into a corner. And instead of continuing to fight back, as he has all his life, Swain thought it better to seek to end the war himself.

Of course, this is not lucifer’s true form. Far from it.

in truth, his form is incomprehensible to mankind. as are all angels and divinity. a single glance at his true form and it would drive a man mad— if he is lucky. 

but mankind is a race that lucifer is intimately familiar with. after all, he has taken the time to acquaint himself with the heavenly father’s creation. and believe me, he has all of the time he needs. he knows of human desire and emotion, though he does not partake in it, he is able to manipulate humans with relative ease. so, it is no surprise that he is able to effectively take the form of a human— and masquerade as one quite well. 

of all angels indeed, he could be considered the most human, because he understands human nature so well. 

his form has changed over the years, as his form is tailored on a whim and what he wishes to portray. and his forms have spanned every ethnicity, nationality and gender. (though he does show a very slight preference towards a more masculine appearance.)
