So i’ll say just this about the whole Seungri story.

I read just about everything that happened and I need to say my opinion out loud. Anyone who disagrees is free to hate on me or block me, unfollow me or whatever, but i need to say what i think, even if no one reads it or cares. I have been a fan of big bang for solid 5-6 years now. When i first got into kpop i was living for them and Shinee. And i have been supporting them immensely ever since, and through every scandal i stood behind them (also most scandals were connected with weed lets be honest and i don’t really mind weed at all, so i didn’t really like Korea’s reaction to that and i continued to support the boys).

However as hard and disappointing it is, i think this is where my support for Seungri stops. Taking in mind everything that he has been accused of and looking up and following all sources of info since yesterday, i don’t really care about what happens with his case from here on. Considering everything and looking at people’s reactions i cant help but wonder, has the world gone completely crazy? How do some people look at the video of that poor woman being dragged by the NECK by that man and desperately trying to hold on to anything, not make them sick to the bone?? How do they look at this video and still go like “well you see it wasn’t oppa’s fault !!! Stay strong Seungri !! I hope the men who did this take responsibility !!!” Bitch there he is, right in front of you!! It has been confirmed that these convos were not fabricated. Yes, he might not be the only one that is a part of this mess, but he is still responsible and some of yalls still continue your support, as if he is wrongly accused !! Seungri KNEW about this, he PARTICIPATED in making sure that these women are drugged and WAS a part of a group chat, where everyone was clearly aware of the use of women for sex. At this point i don’t really care if it is confirmed if he actually filmed women or anything else from his accusations whatsoever is true. HE KNEW this was happening, but he was getting money out of it. So did he really care about these women’s emotions or how their life would change after they were raped? NO he didn’t. He knew this was happening and didn’t do anything about it and maybe, even worse - he took part of it. Women, please respect yourselves enough, not to go ahead and blindly support a man that looks upon you as someone who should be “willing to have sex, without a lot of fuss”. What I wanted to say is. Please. Regardless of his past, Seungri violated basic human rights. This is not about kpop anymore. He was a part of it, i don’t care to what degree. He disrespected and hurt these poor defenseless women for money, at the end of the day. In my eyes he is NOT a decent human being and i will not support his actions, because that would go a hundred percent against my beliefs and morals if not as a maybe future doctor, then at least as a human. So yeah block me if you want or whatever, but i needed to say this.

If all of this turns out to be untrue and all of the allegations are dropped, you are free to clown me all you want and i’ll take it and i will apologize to Seungri truly and to the whole fandom which I have been a part of for a while. But until that happens i will hold my ground on this situation.

The sick thing about these young girls defending Seungri is that, this could have been anyone. The women who were drugged, raped and filmed could’ve been anyone; it could’ve been us.

This grown-man doesn’t respect women, you think he’ll respect the same young girls who would happily jump a gun for him? No. He’d use it to his advantage because that’s what abusers do.

I am a woman before I am a fan.

Whilst I don’t think things will change the K-pop fandom need to have a serious intervention with defending the likes of him. Can’t believe y’all went batshit when T.O.P smoked some green.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens when the rest of the names are released.

Another thing, the community’s actions surrounding this, highlights another big problem amongst us, y’all treat female idols like shit. God forbid one even slightly breathed wrong. Remember when people were sending Hyuna death-threats, just because she got a boyfriend?
