After a long day of studying, all you wanted to do was get home, you've been working so hard these past few days just so you could get good grades to get into the school of your dreams, but you've been working yourself too hard, way too hard, and you need a break.so instead of calling your buddy,sunoo to pick you up from the school library, you decide to walk home, alone, at 4pm, how smart is that?
Meanwhile Riki and his friends were at the basketball court near your house, practicing for the auditions for the team taking place in a few days. "And just like that, another one goes in." Riki says with the biggest grin on his face as his teammates sit as they've been doing for the passed 15 minutes. " can I go home now?" Jungwon asked with the most tired and drained voice imaginable. "Your kidding right? We just started" Riki says as if they haven't been practicing for 2 and a half hours ( by practicing I mean watching him throw a ball into a hoop repeatedly) "Riki, look! It's y/n!!" Sunghoon rushed to tell Riki about the rare sighting of his crush,you. Riki's face soon turned a dark shade of pink as he saw you walking passed the court. "Now is your time to shine, Nishimura, go for it, ask her" jay says with a smirk, those words have left his mouth countless times, but today, Riki was going to actually do it.
"hey, Y/N, wait up!" You looked back with the most puzzled emotion on your bare face, you saw the figure of the tall boy running in your direction, he waved to you, but you could only show a wide smile since your hands were occupied with your laptop and other necessities. " oh uh hi riki-" he stopped you before you could say anything. " can I maybe walk you home" you felt as your cheeks heated and became a shade of red. "Oh uh sure" Riki took you bag from you and the two of you faded away into the distance from the court. Riki was embarrassed when he heard the boys cheering him on, but it was so far away, it sounded more muffed.
"It's kinda quiet here, huh?" Riki tried to start small talk. " I suppose, but it's always nice to walk with someone , just you and I" Your words sent shivers down riki's spine, and it wasn't long when you stopped at your doorstep.
"thanks for the walk Riki, I really enjoyed it" you said with the prettiest eyes and brightest smile, Riki nodded his head in agreement but stood still as you pressed a kiss on his cheek. He felt his skin tingle."see you at school, Nishimura Riki"
