And then Mike being Mike decides that Will should wear proper jewellery so he goes to the pawnshop and buys him a small golden hoop and justifies it by saying that it looks nice with Will’s brown hair.

now I need a fic where mike has managed to avoid alcohol all throughout high school until he gets a skull-cracking toothache during his second semester of college. when he goes to the dentist, it turns out he needs to get his wisdom teeth removed and mike straight up refuses because he knows. he knows! if he's around will afterwards--which is unavoidable given will is his fucking roommate!--he's gonna end up saying something.

he spends like a week just walking around campus with a bitchy mood and tears in his eyes because his jaw hurts so damn much. but he's stubborn as fuck, because losing will would hurt worse. the party is called in to make an intervention but even that doesn't work. eventually, karen puts her foot down and sends in the cavalry (a worried, teary-eyed will) to make him go. mike caves pretty much as soon as will's first pretty tear falls onto his cherub cheeks and yeah. mike absolutely confesses to him while under anesthesia lol

My one regret

Okay but what if there was a plot about Mrs wheeler aka Karen sending one letter to one will Byers before her death. She has like cancer or dementia and as it progress her one regret was stopping Mike from confessing to will. And it’s been like years there in there 30sbut she invokes on her desperation a demand from Will. Telling him Mike never gave up on him Mike took care of him and yes he fucked up but was a teenager and than it was society she dosent defend the hurt and pain Mike may have caused she apologized and than sends all 150 letters starting from the day Will vanished. From Mike wheeler who never send to will Byers. And the complexities of lost time and emotions and people and society ughh I wish I was a better writer !!!

I started it a week ago on a recommendation and GOD I LOVE IT SO MUCH,So, in case you can't read Max asking, "How's the retreat going, Will?" Well, we can choose between a romantic and comedic film starring Will Byers and unexpectedly Mike Wheeler in Alaska or we could talk about the elephant in the room: Will, with an unexpected burst of energy, decided to spend a summer in Alaska where Mike Whee lives. His "best friend" whom he hasn't seen for almost a decade and from whom he heard nothing for a decade, but given the sinking situation and permanent consequences of life, is it the best escape or... ?

Anyway, I love it and well, I wanted to try something, a romantic cover, although well, I'm not really good at backgrounds (obviously), so I took the opportunity to use some saved brushes. (the flowers, the pine trees) and well, they're not really the kind of flowers you find in Alaska, but I know it has wonderful things I'm not good with clothes either, but this just came out of me and I'm looking forward to more. Beware of my spoilers hehehe
