No Turning Back. [Summoning Musashi]
A frail doll. This was the first thing that popped into Musashi’s head. A frail doll of priceless detail that it would be quite a shame if someone were to ruin the doll’s physique. Would this be Musashi’s motivation? A new drive for him until he can reach the Anthedon? To protect and serve a robot—an ironic twist of fate one would bring on the vagabond—would prove to be his most interesting challenge yet.
Musashi rubbed his chin, and then gave an affirmative nod: ”Course, I’ll help ya out. Well, I don’t have a choice, right?” He grinned, scratching the back of his head. ”You did summon me after all.” He was already beginning to like Luka for more than her honesty. For a robot, she seemed to have quite the leveled head on. Not to mention her singing abilities caught his eye—mostly because in reality, Musashi is quite the accomplished Karaoke singer himself. (Not really. In fact he is a poor singer that he only justifies with his flashy showmanship.) Having someone like Luka around could boost his morale to finally write that theme song of his.
“Well, ah, partner, what else do ya wanna know?”
What else did she want to know? She wanted to know everything. Obviously, one could never really know everything, especially in regards to another person, and a human to boot. Androids like her were much easier to get to know, it was all there in the manual. But people were a lot more complicated than that. Was there anything she wanted to know right now? The pink haired woman pondered for a moment, going through possible questions in her mind.
She would definitely be interested in whether he could sing or not, or if he played any instruments, or was a pervert, or…other things, but there really wasn’t much she was dying to know. A metaphor, of course; androids didn’t really ‘die’, but they do get broken and being broken was not something Luka ever really wanted to experience.
Oh, wait a minute. How could she have forgotten?
“Fish.” She said, turning her head towards her servant in an almost in a robotic monotone, “What is your favourite fish?”
This was a make or break question.
"Angler." He replied in almost an instant. "I mean, I like all types of fish, but my favorite is Angler! Rare, meaty, and puts up a hell of a fight!"
As Musashi continued his grin, the memories of the Anthedon began to flow back. The assignment in which he had to help prepare Angry Angler Hellstew--which, as the name sounds, is excruciatingly hot-- for a cooking tournament with a rival restaurant. It was one of his easier missions, yes--but the sheer thrill of trying to catch an Angler always put a smile to his face and Mycella's face.
Then he thought of Mycella, and as soon as that happened a frown of grief and sorrow appeared only briefly before fading away back into his grin.
He also remember when he was one of the first to taste the diabolical concoction.
To this day, his tastebuds are still healing from the rigorous sores and burn marks imprinted on his tongue.
"No S-Spicy fish, m'am."
