I'm just going to say this right now. If you are under 18, DO NOT INTERACT WITH ME. (In which I mean, if I post something nsfw, do not interact with it. Ignore it. Move on. If it's general art that's sfw, whatever, my page still isn't for you. If it's nsfw writing, go away, don't like, don't read, get off my page.)
I don't care if you think you're "mature" enough. I don't care if you share the same fandoms as me. I do not want to interact with children. Yes, if you are under 18 you are a child. Hell, I still believe you're a child until you hit about 21. Yes there are spaces to enjoy the same things together with all ages, my space is not one of them. I don't want to have to weed out who and who is not appropriately aged. It is not my job to monitor what you view or what circles you are in. But it is my right to say I don't want you in my space. I post/reblog/like things that are not for children. Nsfw things that I don't feel like I should have to monitor everyone for.
This isn't meant to be "mean" or a "call out" to anyone in specific. But because I've been through this song and dance before in the Undertale and furry fandom, I DO NOT WANT MINORS HERE ON MY PAGE. DO NOT LIKE MY STUFF, DO NOT TALK TO ME, DO NOT ENGAGE WITH MY CONTENT.
I promise that there are places for you to hang out safely on the internet. Lying about your age and inserting yourself into adult groups is NOT one of them. You may think you are "mature" enough to be in them, but you are wrong. Think of it this way. Say you're 16, and you're feeling like you're old enough to look at nsfw on the internet and even join in on some of those groups. Now... Let's say your 9 year old cousin comes over and happens to see what you're looking at. Wow, you've peaked their curiosity, now they want to look and be involved too!
See how that makes you immediately cringe and be like no no no no no no this is not the space for you, you're not supposed to be looking/doing this. That's EXACTLY How we feel when you come into adult spaces. So please. Stop. Stay a kid until you are actually old enough to be in these spaces.
