I'm not a fan of the Elena of Avalor episode CORONATION DAY. Sure, Esteban got pardoned because he performed a remarkable act of selflessness, but it is still only one act. His actions resulted in the deaths of many people. If a murderer gets stabbed in prison trying protect the life of a prison guard from another prisoner, would they be let free? Probably not, but situations when prisoners defend guards happen. Unless you are known for advocating that mobs storm jails to free all prisoners who are kind towards the guards, then I don't see how it's possible to enjoy the ending.

I agree with you on this, as much as I enjoyed that episode it just felt rushed with Esteban redemption. I get that he sacrificed himself for Elena as a way of to show Elena that he still cares and a way to ask forgiveness, but like you said it doesn’t changed the fact that he was the cause of her parents’ death & others suffering. I enjoyed Esteban’s character, I just wished they gave him more time to show his redemption💔💔

(Also I understand they were on some kind of time crunch too)

Yknow what breaks my heart, in those 41 years of Elena being trapped inside of that amulet I know she was grieving so BAD for her parents (& family). Especially she had nobody to comfort her at all. I cannot imagine how much pain she must’ve felt :(

It's actually pretty disappointing that Gabe seemed so useless during the fight sequences in the show 🥹 I think because of the show rating they're not allowed to actually show him using his sword and do actually swordfighting skills against the villains he's so outmatched by them because they have magic 😭😭😭 they could've at least gave him some sort of magic sword that sends like magic shockwaves or something that would've been pretty cool to see !!!

They probably didn't want to show blood but LORD LET GABE DO SOMETHING. He literally was a cool sword but nooo he can't fight with the super powered villains. Shockwave sword is such a good idea!!

The least they could've made him done is make him smack villains with the flat of his sword or the hilt that would've been fine 😭😭😭 justice for gabe

Literally he’s just there majority of the time during the fight scene😭 there’s this one scene that still cracks me up is when he’s fighting against the Saloso and lost immediately🥀
