Despite the number of fires in California, and how much smoke has been left in the air from the fires; I'm honestly amazed that I was able to get this shot. I saw a few Perseid's, however, I didn't catch any in my photos. Can't wait to go back and try again. (at Convict Lake)

About 20 minutes from Wagon Wheel, a popular OHV destination, there's a water tower that many people don't recognize. This water tower was reportedly used in the filming of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Pretty cool to find all of these hidden gems out here.

Spending a little downtime, getting used to a new camera. I'm excited to find out what I will be able to do with this camera. (at Piute Ponds)
After being displayed for a few months in a gallery, with mild interest to purchase, I had withdrawn all of my prints from the gallery. I'll leave out the specifics, but, I'm glad that I did it. In a single evening, these prints went from a starting bid of $200, to a final bid of $1000 (for both). The money went to a worthwhile cause, and I got the answer that I've waited quite some time for. I can't wait to try again. (at Ridgecrest, California)
Keep asking yourself, "What drives you?" It develops a way for you to adapt to just about any situation that you're thrown into. Seek out new challenges, constantly. Most of all, never give up.
