ARCANE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS: 2x05 - “Blisters and Bedrock”
#something has just awoken inside me...
Just thinking about how Jinx never told Isha to stay back and always let her tag along despite the danger because she never wanted to do the same thing Vi did to her and make Isha feel left out/useless. But now she probably understands in the worst way why Vi did what she did.
I’m totally fine.
viktor vs cait innit
jinx: *makes an ableist joke towards viktor*
viktor: *immediately deadnames her*
they deserved more time together lmfao

I just can't stop thinking about how by the end of Apology Tour, Blitz isn't even trying to deny that he has feelings for Stolas. By their final conversation, he's stopped trying to say it's just sex or any of the other lies and defenses he's put up previously.
He's just honest. He really, truly, hates himself so much that he doesn't know why Stolas would want to be with him and thinks that Stolas deserves someone better. He's openly jealous when seeing Stolas kiss someone else and refers to it as someone "stealing" Stolas from him.
He's just not even trying to deny that he wants a relationship with Stolas by the end. He still won't let himself have it, because his self loathing is unfortunately just that strong, but he's not in denial anymore, not even a little.
I'm proud of the progress he's making. Give him time.
One of the things I realized when I watched Fury Road directly after Furiosa:
Furiosa doesn't treat Max like she treated Jack. She treats Max like Jack treated her.
There are so many parallels - the way they meet, their conflict with each other that quickly turns to partnership, their journey to The Green Place (and how it fails)...
But where before it was Jack reaching out to her, now it's Furiosa who is asking Max his name, teaching him the kill sequence for the rig, trusting him to have her back in a fight, giving him everything he needs to leave (even when she wants him to stay).
Furiosa doesn't see Jack in Max, she sees herself. Everything from the muzzle to the nightmares to the fact that he barely speaks is a direct parallel to what she was like when she met Jack, and Furiosa knows it. And so as someone reached out to her, she reaches out to him, this feral, half-mad Wastelander. She reaches out and offers him hope, just like Jack did to her when he came back for her on the Fury Road.
And together, they find some kind of redemption
