“Nice to meet you, Frank!” Brandon would offer a handshake, but he wasn’t wearing gloves. His eyes glanced towards Frank’s head injury, and he creased slightly. He was unsure why he creased when his entire face was scarred. One large scar leading from his cheek to his forehead, through his eye. Leaving the eye damaged with no colour, which was heavily noticeable next to his other bright blue eye. Luckily, he could still see.
Being a product of electricity had its ups and downs. “Well! If you, uh, wanna follow me inside?” Brandon continued. He had to admit, Frank was pretty intimidating. More so then anyone else he’d met, and he’d fought Hydra. “I can clean and disinfect your injury and re-bandage it. Then we can take your blood sample and I can find some clothes that’ll fit you whilst you shower.”
He turned around to face the gate, and then realised he’d flew over it. The gate was still closed. “Uh… haha… are you okay with flying, Frank?” This time, he offered a hand towards him.
Frank has to bite back a chuckle when the kid’s face goes sour. It’s pretty clear by now that he doesn’t pose a threat, at least for the moment. It’s also pretty damn evident that the kid - Brandon, he’d said - can’t hide a tell to save his life. Kinda refreshing though, not having to wonder what someone’s thinking.
The thought of letting someone else patch him up is a novel one. He’d usually just do it himself if he was conscious enough to. Even back when he and Lieberman were still together, more often than not Frank’d be the one bandaging his wounds. That’s just how it was, and he’d gotten used to it. Now that he’s gonna be here though, maybe a change of pace is in order.
Frank’s eyes cut over to the closed gate, then back. It ain’t exactly a short jump and Frank ain’t a light load, especially considering the seabag strapped to his back. “Hell, kid,” he chuckles, not bothering to hold back his amusement as he accepts the proffered hand. “You think you can lift me, go for it.”
Brandon laughed in response and accepted Frank’s hand. A small cocky exterior shining through. “Trust me, electricity offers a lot of powers,” and Brandon lifted them both off the ground with ease, over the gate and into Haven. He patted Frank’s arm once they were on the other side. “See! We did it!”
They were next to the gatehouse now, the place where people had to go through before being allowed properly into Haven. Brandon guided him inside, holding the door after him for Frank to enter. It was empty now, Brandon presumed the others had gone on break but at least they didn’t have to worry about people passing by.
“Okay! I think it’ll be best to shower first before cleaning and re-bandaging,” Brandon proposed. Now inside, he took himself off the ground and began floating again. Leading Frank into a back room, contained a shower and changing room. “Here! I’ll go find some clothes. What size are you?”
After getting an answer, Brandon would disappear in search of medical supplies and clothing.
