So, changing all my art / social media sites usernames! Long story short, I’m trans, and my old name is kinda weird to me, so using Kalli now. Gonna be posting all my things at http://kalliopebrown.tumblr.com/ now.

Sketchbook 2.35 - Glitch
Another Art Fight piece I did a while back. Wasn’t really happy with how the sketch turned out, so I redid it digitally and played around with funky animation stuff.
Sketchbook 2.34 - Robert 'Bobby' Bloups
Another artfight piece that I never posted. There were a few of these that kinda got lost in the bleh of not sharing art. At least I posted them to the fight before it ended!
Sketchbook 2.33 - Cookie
This was one of the art fight drawings I did a few months ago. Kinda just... lost the habit of posting stuff daily so it sat for a long while.
King K Rool
I dunno why.
Sketchbook 2.32 - Cien
I have no info on what/who this fella is, but they were cute and I wanted to try more marker stuff with ‘em. I even attempted to do the colorful bits in a lineless style with just the markers. It turned out okay~
Shame that the white pen I have didn’t quite cooperate for the little details.
Sketchbook 2.31 - Blind Robot Ninja
I don’t know how he does cool ninja stuff while being a blind robot, but I’m sure it’s awesome all the same.
I tried more marker practice today, mostly with the gradient in the cloak, and that was an interesting challenge. I’m not sure how to color large areas without having that sorta streaky look, but I’ll get it eventually I’m sure!
Sketchbook 2.30 - Friendly Medibot
More Art Fight! This is an adorable medic robot named Alys, who belongs to TheWinkingPhoenix. And as you can see, the sketch turned out a bit... bad. I attempted to color in the gray spots with a crayola washable marker, and it didn’t work out. I felt so bad, that I tossed it into photoshop and redrew it digitally really quickly.
The pose is so off. But I’m trying not to dwell on these art attack things too long, so, weird poses are gonna happen, that’s okay. I’ll try to make better stuff next time.
Sketchbook 2.29 - Robo Rabbit loves you
Art Fight! Also, I bought markers! I’ve never really used legit art markers before, and I have no idea what I’m doing, but they’re really fun to mess around with. Gonna have to try to use ‘em more now.
This fella is Alastair 404, a character of Hoodie-Doggo’s creation.
Sketchbook 2.28 - ??? Longing
More Art Fight stuff! I have a feeling the next few weeks of sketchbook pages are gonna have a lot of these. This character is ??? from latibule, and I could not resist trying to draw a fully black/white/gray character and scene!
It was a fun experiment, the coloring all done with a black sharpie, a white gel pen, and a random gray washable marker I had. Not the best materials, but it was fun to do all the same. And actually got me really interested in trying more stuff with markers!
Sketchbook 2.27 - Rude Robot Dude
There’s this thing going on right now, called Art Fight. It lasts for one month every year, and folks sign up, list up a bunch of their characters, and then ‘fight’ by drawing characters on the other team.
It’s a neat idea, although most of the characters on there are feral cats, cute chibi things, or just, regular people. Not really things I have experience or interest drawing, so it’s hard to find a character that stands out to me.
This rude robot is Cyril, a character that Psyche-Mixas created. Crediting the design cause it seems like the thing I should do.
Sketchbook 2.26 - Gatling Pak
Yep, more of the mantis gal. Inspired by the last D&D session, and I now have a goal to somehow get her a fantasy gatling gun / minigun.
Also, I have terrible consistency. Every time I draw her she has different proportions, so that’s a bit of a problem. But one I can hopefully get better with in time. Especially cause I actually really dig the super tall thin version of her here, cause it seems more unnatural and insect like.
Sketchbook 2.25 - Possessed Mage
So since I’ve kinda caught up with my sketchbook pages, I’m trying to come up with things to draw every day. So I’ve been trying this one random character generator app, and this is what it told me to draw.
Had fun messing around with the concept, and it’s something I wouldn’t have come up with on my own.
Sketchbook 2.24 - Harrowing Escape
So we’ve hit the point where I’ve run through all the back log of posting previously drawn sketchbook pages, so I’ve gotta actually draw every day to keep this up. And while doodling, I attempted to practice more dynamic and interesting poses, and this happened.
The weight is all off for how they’re supposed to be hanging there, but I liked how it turned out all the same, so I gave them a little scene to pose in.
Sketchbook 2.23 - Pak’s Outfit
In the last D&D game, Pak ended up getting a super cool magic duster, so I wanted to draw her with it. And give her somewhat of an outfit. I mean, mantis people don’t seem to need much in the way of clothes, so it still isn’t much, but it was fun to draw all the same.
Probably gonna keep doodling more of this gal, cause she’s too neat not to!
Sketchbook 2.22 - Magitek Kalli
After all those doodles, I wanted to try to put together a proper look for the cyborgi, in a sorta... super hero fighting outfit. Not entirely sure what world she fits into, but it was fun putting together the look, and I tried to do a slightly more interesting pose than usual. It doesn’t make -sense-, but it’s less boring at least.
Sketchbook 2.21 - Magitek Kalli Doodles
So, more of the weird punch corgi gal. I got an idea in my head that she could have like, fancier arms and such, and I wanted to make a weird magic and tech combo version. So was testing out a few different ideas.
Also, the first time I really just filled a page with stuff!
