HI GUYS!!

Jeez it’s been forever since I’ve used tumblr! This used to be such an important part of my life, so for those of you who’ve followed me on here for a while, I wanted to give an update!

I got married in August! Life is great- I love my teaching job. I can’t see much hockey nowadays because I live in a tiny little mountain town, but I follow along and watch when I can.

I’m still so thankful for tumblr, and the very important role it used to play in my life. I hope you all are well! 💕💕

I FELL IN LOVE?!?

I swore I'd never let myself do it again, but here I am and here we are together and he makes me so. freaking. happy.

I met him doing a musical at the local theatre. Being backstage was the first time that I felt like the part of me I thought I lost in college was really back. I felt more like myself than I had in five years and of course that's when something happens.

He's kind, he's understanding, he's imperfect, he's silly, he has the voice of a freaking angel, and I love him.

What the heck happened to me lol

hey! idk if you follow the echl at all, but i think they have some of the best team names out there for professional hockey - the florida everblades are my favorite punny one but there's also the orlando solar bears and their logo is also pretty hilarious lol. plus i gotta give a shoutout to my home team, the swamp rabbits. not exactly a punny name but i love it and their adorable logo too. hope you have a good rest of your day!

Ok guys,

Some ridiculous stuff is going down at home, but I'm on vacation so I can't fix or control the situation and my chest has been in so much pain from anxiety about it and I feel like absolute crap so WHO WANTS TO SEND ME STUFF TO TAKE MY MIND OFF IT?

it can be anything- your favorite songs, pictures, hockey stuff, etc. I just need distractions 😅😅

some days, you’ll oversleep and be late to class or work, you’ll look like an absolute mess, you’ll fail your biggest exam of the year, you’ll drop your phone in a puddle outside, you’ll say the wrong thing at the wrong time, you’ll lose the person you thought was the love of your life. you’ll cry your eyes out and feel so completely hopeless because everything seems like it’s going wrong, but even on those days, you’ll have people that love you. and some days, that’s all that matters. and that’s okay.

Today has been the worst day I've had in at least a year. My chest has been on fire since 6am. I've cried more than I have in forever. The dark thoughts have been overwhelming. Temptation is trying to take over. I don't know how I'll get through this.

That being said, I'm trying to look at the Light. I am not worthless, my life has a purpose even when it sucks, I will get through this even if it's hard, I will survive.

It hurts like fucking hell, but I will survive.
