I had this idea for a few years, and never knew how to put it to words (and images) so to speak. But now I did (I hope)! For those who don’t know, this is a crossover between Saint Oniisan and Good Omens. Aziraphale and Crowley go for a vacation to Japan and meet Jesus and Buddha who are also vacationing there. (I drew one image on the subject before)

I hate that they made sabrina straight when as stated above she is half angel and fucking antichrist…… and ah I’m just still angry that they haven’t given us prudence x sabrina since 2018. same with Lucifer, yeah, I know he had something with guys at times, but not as much as with women. good omens - where are my ineffable husbands and genderfluid crowley and lord beelzebub??? supernatural…… yes …..

What I hate about how ‘Chilling Adventures’ did with their witches. It was that other meant queer. And everyone knew this except naive human/angel sabrina who has never taken part or cared for it. The show did it for brownie points and explained it as it was a way for witches to be “unholy” and hurtful to christan eyes. which is 1) gross and 2) homophobic. You could argue “Good Omen’s” queer rep was similar; other meant queer. But all other (heaven and hell) was queer and nothing about it was used for sex or drama. Its not explained as heavenly or sinful either. It exists and makes us question human norms quietly. Most of the time any scene in “Chilling Adventures” talked about or used this information was inherently for drama.

Lucifer’s use of queer rep was in my opinion better than Chilling Adventures, they didn’t sweep it under the rug or draw attention to it. They didn’t make it a trait solely for Lucifer or anyone else in hell and they didn’t go down the path of other means queer either. The problem I have with Lucifer is that all the multisexual characters (Eve, Lucifer, Maze) are all canonically very sex driven and Lucifer’s attraction to men is left in the air as a sexual adventure or a legitimate attraction.

I think you have a very similar sentiment. But I believe you think the canon owes you a performance that its already giving you. The idea that Sabrina being other and thus must be queer is unsavory in a canon where the rule is sprung from homophobic ideas. The idea that Lucifer must be with an equal amount or more guys in his sexual exploits to be considered queer enough for you in a canon that has manage to associate multisexuality to hypersexuality is odd.

Your criticisms come from real places, but the driving force behind already exist in the canons your talking about. Your pointing the finger in the wrong place.
