go my shadaria (do not tag as ark siblings) ramblings under the cut

i have a lot of headcanons (that may as well develop into an au of sorts?) of how shadow and maria were raised on the ark. like shadow having ID tags that eventually become piercings as he's older, or setting them in the Space Race 60s, etc etc.

i dont see them as siblings, used to but then went back to my roots of *inhales* childhood friends but they grew up together so they were like honorary family members but they still weren't related yet also that grey zone of family friend/childhood friend that some people may have suspected they were dating if they were not *exhales*. if ur asian and grew up calling people "ate" or "kuya" yk yk

id like to think theres unresolved sexual/romantic tension between them which heightens the tragedy bc they never actually go to ask the question of what their relationship was or to properly explore it. itd be nice to hear other peoples interpretations on shadaria other than "ark siblings" bc i just like my dynamics messy and complcated

With all this stuff going on about the social media ban happening for people under 16, I was wondering about why people act like if the Internet it's just 10 websites?

Like I am against the ban, and I think protectig children is just a pretext for mass survilliance and for selling your data to announcers without paying you the real value of it. The only social media I'm in favor to be banned for kids are Twitter and TikTok since those sites fried their brains with drama and dopamine, they award bad behaviour and stuff.

But the point of this post is that I find strange that people act like there's no place left to go in the whole internet, and I am like, you know that you still can build your own websites, right? In what moment the Internet only became 10 boring sites where people fight all the time?. Except for youtube, like why the hell are they trygint to ban it for kids, kids can find tutorials there of handcrafts, recipes, etc. I dunno, maybe there's something I am not seeing.

Now that I think about that, why do kids even see in social media? I recall creating a facebook account when I was in highschool just to play Pet Society and other facebook games, but what do twitter provides besides drama? Nothing, what does tik tok provides besides brain rot? I'm not sure since I don't use tik tok for anything besides uploading my animations.

I'm thinking in doing a site, so people can go to see Shadaria content without any drama. I dunno, it's like, not everybody can go outside to socialize or do stuff due circunstances out of their control, so if I can build a healthy space for them to see what they like, I think that's a tiny grain on hope.

I dunno why all my art got unpublished on newgrounds... the page says it was either stolen or unsuitable?..... Just what I needed, fuel to convince me then to open my own page where I can upload my own art. I already ask a moderator about the decision to hide my art, but let's see.

Oh my God, it just got worse. It seems like Newgrounds wiped out all the "problematic content", probably to please Paypal, Visa and Master Card. Geez, this is just way worse, I would have definitely preferred that this issue was due an anti crying over my drawings, but no, it’s due the massive censorship we are living. Besides, what is so wrong in drawing Shadow and Maria hugging, like, my god, my content wasn’t even explicit!

Just found that according to Shipping wiki, the ships of Shadow with Hope or Molly already had a name, and I have been using the wrong ones XD They are Shadope and Shadolly and no one has made the page for those, but at least they are acknowledged. And there are also super bizzare ships like Shadow with Sandy Cheeks, I couldn't stop laughing about that XD

sorry for the looowww quality, this is a softer mechanical pencil and my camera won't collaborate -_- idea behind the second one is that Elise should get to explore the cool and old places Sonic finds on his adventures, I think she would like it and also Yes, it IS Shadow helping Sonic bc he's the "go get the princess" for Sonic during the Shadow v Silver fight :)
