- He didn’t grow up in Crawley but in Hartfordshire but was forced to move due to a lawsuit against him for breaking his piano teacher’s hand ( Gorillaz Hijack XFM 2001 )

- Has been described as ‘Devastatingly Handsome’

Yes gladly !!

- He’s a pollotarian [“ If I could have a hamburger named after me, what would I call it? Er…’2D’s Hamburger’? I don’t eat meat, so it’d have to be, like, a chicken burger or something. Also no pickles. I’m allergic to them. They make my lips swell up like a Playboy model’s.“  ( 2D interview on Gorillaz Official Fansite –2006) ]

- Pre-Phase 1 and During Phase 1 he was very into street art ! ( early phase 2 interview , phase 1 interview, RotO )

as a side note, he dabbled in stormchasing as well in his youth !

- He did, in fact, pay his child support.

- He’s aware the band takes him for a fool. ( phase 1 interview: 01 + 02 ) He’s really not as stupid as they like to make the general audience believe. He actually did well in school !

- Of course, I really wish people would talk about his involvement with the Free Tibet campaign ! ( itunes interview phase 3 , Free Tibet gbite )

- While he’s marked by lack of ambition, I’d like to point out the fact he’s very dedicated to what he’s interested in. ( Such as getting a Saturday job just to save up for a Subbuteo set + tinkering with old keyboards with his dad )

He’s just made up of all these contradictions between the character type he was meant to fit and the character he actually turned out to be but I really love the substance and little nuances that make him up !
