I had such fun here. I went in looking to meet new books and authors and I must say mission accomplished. I got a historical fiction book involving botany and wanting to start anew, which is quite the bullseye when it comes to merging all of my personal niche interests. The only sad part about visiting such a charming bookstore is the leaving. Missing it very badly right now indeed.
a little sunlit desk reorganization this morning feat. the layer of dust on my laptop screen that i will never, ever escape

It's a beautiful October day, let's go:
Before lunch:
check J's draft comments from last night and read his new email from this morning
change abstract title accordingly and create pdf of the programme
create pdf with hotel and venue info (and the map thingy)
send emails to participants with above mentioned pdfs (@spomincica a si bolj produktivna kot jaz in si ลพe poslala svoj mail?)
****go for a lunch and a loooooong walk****
Afternoon:
send email to the restaurant no.1
send email to the restaurant no.2
draft abstract proceedings booklet
Sit down with a cup of tea and the dissertation plan
Household:
laundry
water the plants
dust, vacuum, mop the floor
tidy up
dishes
Photos: people enjoying Saturday brunch outside, love that for them. And monstera cuttings on my desk.
October's come swift. Overnight the weather, the light, the colours, the sounds seem to have turned so autumnal. It's really cosy to stay in bed. Currently reading Bring No Clothes โ I really loved Charlie Porter's last book and have been looking forward to reading and thinking more about why we wear what we wear
The books Iโm currently reading, trying to motivate myself to organise my study space, and admiring this curious French cat by Sylvia Plath ๐ค
