When you create designs you truly love~ Yay!
Valentines day adopts coming soon!!!
HAND CRAMPS you shall not defeat me!!!
Oh my gosh, I have so much art that I am working on that I am even DREAMING about drawing.
MotoGP Austin Texas - My Experience
I am a HUGE fan of MotoGP, and I am lucky enough I live pretty close to Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas. And I am also an HUGE fan of Marc Marquez~ I was there when he won his first MotoGP podium ever, directly across the track from the podium screaming my lungs out for him~
So this year when COTA offered a great deal on Paddock Passes (where you get to go hang out in the paddocks where everything cool happens) and so I BUSTED my butt working on commissions and art- anything I could to get our tickets. And I got two tickets JUST in time, they were sold out right after I got mine!
Now that I knew I might have the crazy luck to run into ANY of my favorite riders, I love them all~ I really wanted to make something to show my support. MotoGP is still not that well known in America sadly, I wanted to show them that there ARE people here who love the sport, and are just as crazy about them as anyone in any other country~ My dream is to follow them around the world one day, see each one of the races in person. <3 One day. Until then I do my best to try and help spread info about MotoGP around best I can to try and help~ Its amazing how few people know about it here…
You can see the poster here on my Deviantart as well!~
SO I stood outside Marc’s little Paddock station for hours holding this poster that I had worked hard on. It was crazy amazing, the best weekend ever! It was like I had suddenly jumped into the TV, and all my favorite riders where there! Nakamoto was standing right there beside me at one point like it was no big deal! Dani Pedrosa even walked by me and ignored me even though I was calling his name and I was the only one around at the moment- it was so classic and perfect. At this point I had gotten to see Marc Marquez up close as well as many of my favorite riders. Aleix Espargaro walked right by me and said Hi to me, Bradly Smith stuck his tongue out at a group of us as he rode by on a scooter, Nicky Hayden looking like a model with perfect hair and awesome sunglasses stopped to take a pic with me, and Scott Redding laughed and talked to me for a moment! My 5 year old son was even pushed into Rossi as he was trying to get to his Scooter to leave, the crowd was pushing with such excitement as they chanted “Vale! Vale!”~
Now back to my story- I waited outside Marc’s paddock station for hours holding my poster. I felt a little silly at first, I was beyond nervous. But everyone liked the Poster and drawing a lot. I got a ton of questions about it, great to see so many people surprised when I told them that I had drawn it myself~ Lol at one point I ran over to this cool cafe that they have in the paddock so that I could see how the Qualifying was going and still see my spot.
Yup! Marc came right over when he saw the poster and signed mine as I told him about how I had drawn it for him- and I gave him the one I had brought for him~ He was so nice, he even stopped again to get a picture with me. It was truly awesome, even more so when I was able to sit and watch him win first place once again here in Austin!
And that was just in the Paddock!!! There was so much to see and do, I walked so much I could barely move by Monday! It was the perfect weekend, except for poor Crutchlow!
Apparently we had the perfect seats to watch Crutchlow crash, we were screaming about it before the TV even caught on~ This guy is amazing, we were very worried when it happened- dislocated finger has to be no fun at all. Hoping for a quick recovery~ <3
Sadly I didn’t get to see Bautista or Yonny Hernandez, I was really hoping I would get to. I love Yonny, every time he is on the screen I yell “YONNY!!!~” I was sad that the one time he was where I could get to see him he was busy on stage and I was waiting in line for an autograph session that ended before we could get up there. Dang~ (It was so hot I almost passed out waiting!)
Needless to say, the Paddock pass was the best idea ever. I am so thankful that I had the ability to work hard and get to experience this. I can’t believe everything that has happened. I even made it on the Sideways Glance episode!!! Can you believe it! Yes, easily one of the greatest weekends of my life~ I LOVE Motorcycle racing! Can’t wait for the next race!!
Now to get back to drawing hard so that one day I can see another dream come true and follow these amazing racers and teams around the world to see a whole championship from beginning to end in person!~ <3
I will be someone. Just you wait.
I was feeling a little down about my art lately, because I have really picked it up and tried to be more active in the art community. I've joined two new art sites, Weasyl and FurAffinity- and its still been insanely slow going. I comment constantly, which is tons of fun because I love the new artists' I've found- but it seemed like I was getting no attention back at all. People would come to my page and comment back, but they don't watch me back or look at my art. So I've had to ask myself, is my art bad? Mm, nope. I honestly think my art is amazing, that I am pretty talented.... -shrug- Just gonna keep trying!
Also totally made my day, someone did message me a bit ago and said I was too nice to be real lol~ That made me pretty happy :D

Working on an Adoptable
And I am in love with her!~ My hand keeps cramping up though lol~! Too much art, and I am getting old I guess. Ohz well, I am having a blast.
Anyone want to suggest some adopt themes?
I want to be somebody.
Drained
Oh holy wow, I am so so so tired. I feel so freaking drained.
Why do I have such rotten luck right now? I feel like awful things happen, and I see them and face them, and try to keep happy and positive. But fuuuuuuuuu.... I am so drained....

Sooo... I'm about to meet Ke$ha and Pitbull. How is my heart still beating?
With all the work I am putting into my store, I really ought to be taking a business class this fall to help me out.
