Thonik Alphabets are part of the KunstRAI in Amsterdam. The KunstRAI celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year and can be visited untill June 9th.

One of the Graphic Tapestries is on show at the exhibiton 'Decorum: Carpets and Tapestries by Artists' at the Power Station of Art. The exhibition shows more than a hundred carpets and tapestries from Europe, America, Africa and Asia from the 6th century to the present. The impressive exhibition, realized at the “Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris”, challenges the standard notions of tapestry as an anachronistic art form

Thonik designed the wall cloth for the Nuclear Security Summit 2014 based on the identity by Lava Design. Thonik pays with this design a tribute to Dutch cultural icon Escher. The grid of the logo of NSS turns from nuclear signs into doves of peace.
