Reblog if you're a girl running a studyblr!
Love to see all my educated females out there trying their best! Remember to be grateful for your education 💝
Dude was ready
He knew this day was coming.
lmfao what a smooth transaction my god
Me: *spends 3 hours on homework* Well, that’s one class done.
how to avoid breaking down during the school year
As someone who has had a breakdown for every year of my high school life up to now I think I know what’s up so here you go
Find a private place that’s not at home for study and ‘me time’: Having a place that you can go to study, listen to music, read a book or scroll through social media that is your own helps you find relief without the feeling of being trapped in your room/home. If you have a tendency to lock yourself in your room when stressed, it’s very likely that your room will become a place where you will feel stressed as a result of being in there. I suggest going to the library, a cafe, a park or even just a private room in your school (I have always been a fan of the music practice rooms)
Don’t leave too much time on your hands: Too much time = Procrastination. Procrastination will always lead to stress. And usually, depending on how long you’ve let your procrastination lead on, it can lead to a lot of anxiety over finishing things last minute as well as anger at yourself for procrastinating.
Don’t leave too little time on your hands: Overworking will kill you. Hard work is always good yes, but if you are balancing like 5 extra-curricular activities, taking extra courses, are in a whole bunch of student councils and have a job honestly you will cry because you will not be able to handle everything because on top of all that, you will still need to study and you will get anxious over finishing everything.
Set realistic goals. Make a schedule/plan: So as I mentioned earlier, leaving too much or too little time in your hands will in one way or another make you cry. Are you really going to sit down and study for 3 hours? Be honest with yourself. Especially if up to now you’ve been the kind of person who has either A) gotten by without studying or B) always gotten distracted after 15 minutes of studying, you are not setting yourself up with realistic goals. It’s like fitness. You cannot expect yourself to be able to go and run a marathon when you still get out of breath going up the stairs. You got to transition into the habits you want to develop.
Stay healthy: I cannot say this enough honestly. Every time that I’ve had a breakdown, it was around the time my exercise routine would slip, or my clean eating shtick would have too many “cheats” to even be considered clean anymore. Do yourself a favor. Drink enough water. Eat enough food. Make sure you’re getting the nutrients you need. Exercise a little every week, even if that means dancing around your room for half an hour every other day that is perfectly fine just do it.
Mess creates stress!: Organization is hard. I get it. I really do. So if you’re a messy person, like I am, find at least once a week or every 2 weeks where you clean up all your mess. And try to stick to better organizational habits. Find what works for you.
Make a stop doing list: So far everything here has been based off a lot of my personal experiences and things that have led to me eventually breaking down. You probably know what’s causing your stress so take time and evaluate yourself. What are your bad habits? Do you waste all your time on social media? You know yourself best
Remember this. Mistakes happen!: Nobody is perfect. I’ve always been an anxious person whether it be because of the pressure of not disappointing my high-standards parents, or my comparing myself to others. Don’t let one bump in the road crush everything you’ve worked for. If you fail a test, don’t panic or ask why, you can’t change it now. Just make a note on all the errors you made for review and proceed from there.

THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY
The best studying advice I have ever received
If you can’t find the motivation to get to work on something, force yourself to pick it up for just two minutes. The key word is force; procrastination is tempting, but keep in mind that there is nothing physically stopping you from doing what you have to do.
After those two minutes, if you still do not want to keep going, put it away and go do something else. Even if you stop after two minutes, you will have two minutes worth of knowledge that you did not have before.
More likely than not, though, those two minutes will make it easy to just keep going. Often times, the hardest part is getting started.
Scientist discovered 15 partial skeletons in a burial chamber deep in a South African cave system.
The all-female team – Hannah Morris, Marina Elliott, Becca Peixotto, Alia Gurtov, Lindsay Eaves and [Elen] Feuerriegel – were drawn from Australia, Canada and the US.
By the way? They worked for no pay. So let’s help them be remembered.
EXCUSE ME I NEVER SAW IT MENTIONED ANYWHERE ELSE THAT THE TEAM OF SCIENTISTS WERE ALL FEMALE!!
19.09.15//Saturday morning set-up. I think I will start using my iPad more for reading articles. Also, a small guest appearance from my bullet journal.
Productive friday ☺️🍃☕️🌅 I love fridays soooo much and I feel really motivated to keep studying! I’m gonna do my homework while watching a movie because I’m really happy and you should also be HAPPY 😊
“I hope that young people will always have hope when they have to deal with something that’s not good. Rather than being happy or sad right after a minor incident, you should remain steadfast and always be able to live with a smile on your face. I, too, had certain difficulties to bear, but when I hung out with friends, I never mentioned those things. I would rather make jokes with them and tell myself, ‘leave your worries behind’. If I show my friends a frowning face, it will only make me look bad. You’ll live happily and healthily when you have a smile on your face. If you live with a frown on your face, it’s only your loss.”
