I never cut class. I loved getting A’s, I liked being smart. I liked being on time. I liked getting my work done. I thought being smart is cooler than anything in the world.

I’ve had some struggles lately with anxiety and motivation so I thought I’d do up some positive affirmations! I really hope you enjoy them - there’s more if you’d like me to upload them, or if you send me an ask I’d be more than happy to make some for you with your affirmation, colour and font.
Hope you’re all having a great weekend xx

Hello loves!
I’ve had a bit of trouble with my morning and night routines lately so I thought I’d make them into a pretty, easy to read graphic. I hope this might be able to help anyone who is also struggling. If you would like me to make you one with your personalised routine, colours etc., send me an ask I’d be more than happy to do one up!
Hope you’re all having a great weekend xx

Hey my little study buddies!
There’s plenty of different note taking methods out there and each have their pros and cons. I like to start with the outline method, then go on to make things such as mind maps and flash cards.
My aim when taking these notes using the outline method is to summarise the information from all the sources I have. This makes revision, open book exams and preparing assignments or other revision materials super easy. My headings and definitions are all clearly highlighted and the notes are easy to follow!
First of all, you’ll need to gather all the sources of information you have for the topic. For me this can include:
Lecture slides
Notes I take during the lecture
Additional resources uploaded by the lecturer
Handouts
Previous notes
Any other sources of information you might need
Once I have all of these in front of me, I break down the big topic into all the parts I need to know and write them down. They can come in the form of objectives or headings.
Then I start writing. The system that works for me when using the outline method is highlighting. This keeps it clear and visually appealing.
Pink - Week and lecture number
Green - headings and titles
Blue - definitions
Yellow - bulleted lists/anything that needs emphasis
The rest - often I use the other colours to differentiate things - for example positives and negatives will get different colours or as you can see in the diagram, the different levels are different colours so when I write notes about a diagram it’s very clear which points relate to which section.
One of the biggest tips I can recommend when using the outline method to stop it from being a passive activity is to use examples and really think about the way they relate to the material.
I don’t find indentation or bullets to be particularly important - I just do whatever seems logical for the notes I am recording.
I hope this helps anyone wondering about the outline method. Please send pictures of your notes if you try any of my tips!! xoxo
