I graduated Uni with a degree in Business Admin and I hate it, I work as a secretary at a law firm and I hate it, I love Graphic Design and minored in it in Uni but I can't draw and my handwriting sucks and in class I always felt like the most uncreative person in class. Would you have any advice?
I think you might want to try product design (User Experience/User Interface design)! It involves more creativity in problem solving than relying on artistic creativity if drawing isnât your thing. Youâll need to have a good understanding of design principles and things like color theory, but you donât need to be hands-on artistic. Everything could be done on the mouse and youâre using basic shapes/common patterns and components most of them time to create digital work :-DÂ
A lot of designers nowadays are coming in from all sorts of backgrounds and career switches, so donât be afraid to take a user experience bootcamp and a UI course and make the jump! Your knowledge in business could also be very useful in designing products because designers always need to consider business needs in addition to user needs when making decisions. And if you find that you really like UX over UI or vice versa, you can also specialize in one of them.Â

hi! sorry if someone else has asked this, I was looking around on your tags but couldn't find anything D: how do you edit your vlog videos? they are really nice and look super aesthetic!
ah sorry I just saw this! I use Adobe premiere to cut and edit, as well as After Affects/Illustrator for the doodles :-) !
I learned from youtube tutorials how to do the little animations and downloaded a pack of VSCO cam filters for the coloring.
