Do you know how high your IQ is? I am just wondering.
Hello, the last time I got my IQ tested was when I was 8; my score was above average, but I don’t know if that means anything now. IQ scores can fluctuate over one’s lifespan.

hi! i was wondering when you take notes, what do you highlight and what do you write in color?
I’m so sorry for the terribly late reply!
I have a color system. For example, if I am studying pathology, I highlight diseases in pink, treatments in blue, genes in orange, etc. I don’t write much in color; I do underline in color though, e.g. symptoms in pink, locations in purple.
It may be harder to develop a color-coding system if you are studying a myriad of different subjects (like science, math, French, and psychology all at once), but you can try to develop a general color system. Back when I did take a variety of classes, I would use the general system of highlighting very important statements in orange, main ideas in yellow, new/key terms in gold and underlining significant details in blue.
Hope this helps!
wowww where did you get those adorable pens in your "but with the old, in with the new post"? they are so cute and i'm always switching between pens!
They are the Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto! You buy the bodies and the refills separately. There are a lot of different designs for the bodies (many are limited edition), and a large range of colors for the refills. They’re available on Amazon; I bought mine on JetPens :)
Hi :) where did you buy your sticky to do lists from and what are they called pls? Thanks!
They are from the Dollar Spot at Tatget! Unfortunately they have no name (that I can find/know of) other than Sticky Note Pad :(
what is the phone case you have in your desk photo? it is cute and i like the wallet-style! thank u!
Hello, it is this one :)

Hello all! Here is the post several of you have been requesting! If you use this tutorial, please show me photos of your projects!! Tag my username in your post/tags or reblog and add a photo comment; I’d love to see them!
I apologize for the delay; I scheduled the post to be released a couple days ago since I knew I would not be able to post it manually, but it unfortunately did not release.
I just updated the post with an updated PDF and monthly & weekly spreads for your personal use :)
My DIY planner, to-do sticky notes, and a Sharpie pen. Time to organize this school year!
can you do a post of your favorite notebooks and paper?
Unfortunately, I no longer use notebooks as I mostly take notes on my laptop :( If I ever take handwritten notes, they are on either print-outs of lecture PowerPoints or plain copy paper. Back when I did write notes, I just used any college-ruled notebook. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
Where are the best places to buy pens and things?
Here is a list of places I know of, but you’ll have to check to see if they are accessible where you are:
Online at Amazon or JetPens. For Japanese products that are slightly on the pricier side, but high quality and worth the money for my purposes. Check out JetPens to find the pen to suit your needs (there is literally a pen/highlighter to solve any writing issue you can think of), then hop over to Amazon to see if you can find it cheaper.
Daiso (Japanese $1.50 store). For adorable notebooks, sticky notes/page flags, or cheap binders to archive old class notes.
Asian stationary stores. For stationary ranging from high quality Japanese products (more expensive) or simply cute stationary of lower quality (less expensive).
Target’s Dollar Spot. I know many people who shop here for sticky notes/page flags, memo pads, and pens/pencils, but I personally do not like the pens/pencils (ordinary/cheap) nor the sticky notes (not sticky). However, their designs are cute and sometimes there are very useful items there like expanding paper files or desk organizers.
Muji. A studyblr favorite for pens and notebooks. It’s harder to access, but you can purchase their items online (Amazon or at their website).
Hema (only located in UK). I haven’t personally purchased anything from here, but I have seen photos of their products and they seem to have very good designs. However, I have no idea about the quality or pricing of their products.
where did u find the wood boxes frm? and wheres dollar tree?
Hello! The wood boxes are from Daiso (with locations all over the world) and Dollar Tree is found across America.
dug up my retired bluetooth keyboard and wireless mouse for a more ergonomic set up ‘cause my traps have been causing me all sorts of grief
my desk is so messy, it's all cluttered with pens and other shit. are there any great tools for desk organisation that you use? thx ;-) !!
True confession: my desk is extremely messy right now ;p but here are some ideas for desk organization:
1) Use glass/ceramic jars/cups or other storage containers that you may have lying around, or check out your local dollar store.
2) DIY a desk organizer. Here’s a tutorial to make one like in the image, or you can just Google/YouTube “DIY desk organizer” for tons of other ideas.
3) To save desk space, you may consider wall storage. All are made with a BYGEL rail with hanging containers from IKEA; alternatively you could hang pails/baskets on Command hooks.
4) Another space-saving option is an under shelf basket (a.k.a. hanging shelf basket) attached to the edge of your desk. You can purchase these at IKEA, the Container Store, and online (i.e. Amazon). There are also slide-out versions for easy accessibility!
Hope you got some inspiration. Now I’m off to start organizing my desk, too…
Can you link the printable where you wrote "Get Shit Done" in orange highlighter?? Thank you<3
It’s the Passion Planner :)
Updated my DIY Planner post with a PDF utilizing these monthly & weekly spreads to create a 7-month planner.
I also included links in the post to download each of these spreads separately so you can customize a planner for however many months you want or print them on their own. They are meant to be folded in half so they are lacking the centerfold line, but I will be creating a post with several printables in the near future that will include these spreads with the centerfold line for those who are printing these individually.
Some really good gold nuggets in here. (I use almost all the visual learning suggestions here.) But be aware that many people are not wholly one type of learner; we are usually a “multi-modal” learner, or we learn in a mix of styles, so don’t limit yourself into one way of learning :)
what does ' upcoming d-day ' mean?
D-day means like "deadline", such as the next upcoming big exam, assignment, project, or event. And on the day before it, you would write D-1, the day before that is D-2, etc. The weekly spread can serve as a countdown. But honestly, I put that there because I didn't want to leave it blank or title the extra section "Notes" :PI forgot that it's not a universal phrase, but haven't had the chance to complete a new version of the planner PDF. I'm currently working on it though and will make a post when I've updated it!
Hello! I have been wanting to make my own planner for a while now and I love your tutorial! I wanted to ask, what is the font you used for the days of the week?
I used Futurist fixed-width (which can be found on dafont.com). Good luck on your project, I’d love to see it when it’s done!! :)
