Soft sunshine makes me happy. I'm still holding off on caffeine until next week and I miss having coffee. I think I've gone through almost an entire box of tea this week... last night I baked a loaf of banana bread for my mom and I realized how long it's been since I last baked. Anyway, today will be a notes and homework day after work. I'm going to try to make it an enjoyable time even though I'm burnt out.
Let's get through it one cup of (preferred drink) at a time ! :)
self-care for quarantine 2021
Hi, it’s werelivingarts! My school was shut down once last year, and I recognize that both of mental and physical health got much worse (staying up over midnight and eating so much unhealthy food). I took me almost a semester back in face-to-face school to cope with normal flow again. ☺️
Now my country is having another school shut down, I’m going back to virtual learning and I’m determined to be better than last year (yes, it’s the second year of COVID-19 now). Above is a list of things I want to remind myself in quarantine, and I want to share it with you all too!
Stay safe and healthy, wear mask and sanitize your hands frequently! ❤️💙💜

I didn't sleep well last night so I gave myself permission to do nothing and just get through the day, ended up tidying my room and sat through a meeting that was actually inspiring. note to self: Mondays can be okay.
Thinking about how my "aesthetic" will change a little with a change in my surroundings, even as I remind myself that the aesthetic is just something that happened along the way and was never really set in stone

This corner again. I’m always making little changes to it, I think because I really like the way the morning light looks just here. I’ve tried to make a habit of brewing coffee, putting a record on and sitting here for a while every morning before I do anything else.
28.02.21// I ordered some stickers for my friends to go in their letters and I finally mailed them off today! I’m such an impatient person I wish they would arrive today hahaha. It’s so nice surprising friends with a little something to lift their spirits right now!

7th January: Do you like the cold?
I think it can be refreshing and nice but I much prefer the feeling of coming in from the cold! I've been raking leaves in the garden this morning to get over what happened in Washington DC last night and now I'm moving onto my next essay. X Emily

i know i’ve only studied seriously for like 2 days, but i feel burnt out already LOL i think its a combo of being mentally drained from studying but also emotionally drained because of the BIG changes in my life
but im hoping to get a yummy lunch (that i’m going to cook for myself !!) and focus on studying for today
accomplishments -started learning the anatomy of the hand -finished up the immune system -finished week 8 content :-) -prepped for this morning’s class (which i haven’t done for 4 weeks)
