starting the morning with some french reading. currently reading a series of unfortunate events by lemony snicket. i absolutely loved these books when i was younger, and when i found that the french edition ebooks were so cheap i couldn’t help myself!

Might fuck around and only wear tweed pants, turtlenecks, and loafers, never eat but drink worrying amounts of coffee and wine, leave my apartment only to sit on a park bench and read classics while smoking, have a close friendship with underlying homoeroticism, accidentally steal a painting,,

A reflection on this year
The semester officially finished for me this week and the year itself is coming to a close. I wanted to reflect on what this year has brought.
🕯Received two Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence Awards and one Dean’s Scholar Award which placed me in the top 100 of all undergraduate students in the HASS faculty
🕯This year I got my first position at the University as a Student Partner for the Professiomal Parhways Project
🕯Conducted my first guest tutorial with a real class (I still can’t believe that)
🕯I am currently organising some volunteer research assistance work at the local historical society
🕯On December 31 I will be heading to London for a winter program focused on London’s History at the University of Roehampton.
Work hard, keep your chin up and keep your eye out for any positions that come your way.
magdalen college in december. take me back to oxford ⭐️
