so far, i’ve spent this afternoon trying to convince myself that, yes, this conference paper *does* need to be written today; no, i can’t procrastinate any longer. on the other hand, my procrastination techniques today have been both productive and fun: I dog-sat a friend’s pupper last night & this morning & took her on a nice long walk through the woods (pics to follow); then, I cleaned my room and the kitchen, and meal prepped for this week. now, if i could only convince myself to read some affect theory and wuthering heights…
