Heres some more + my thought process

(Persona 5 spoilers obviously)

I made fake Igor Doofenshmirtz cause I thought it fit better than Shido since he was the one actually controlling everything.

Akechi is Vanessa cause idk it’s just extremely funny to see him as an emo teen girl. Also fits with Makoto being Candace

Haru is Jeremy cause hehe Makoharu but also cause shes just super chill like Jeremy. Made Futaba Baljeet cause tech nerd and all (Mishima’s that one annoying guy i forgot that name of idk i didn’t draw him lol)

But also cause that makes her friends with Yusuke who is Buford. No bullying between them though. Kasumi (Sumire) is Stacy (can’t remember why I made this decision though?)

Lavenza is Major Monogram because I just really wanted to draw her with a mustache and imagine her with a deep voice

And finally Sae is Linda

I saw this among Saya’s concept sketches and wondered if the flowers put in her hair were chosen for a specific reason.

After hours of searching online, the closest I could find which corresponds to said flowers was the Duranta erecta (common name(s): golden dewdrop, pigeon berry).

In Japan, they mostly mean “I will watch over you (あなたを見守る)”, which is likely why these flowers were picked, knowing what happened to Saya in the game.

If the hand who put them in Saya’s hair was Masamune/Yashiki’s, then it can imply that he either promised to watch over her or regarded her as his guardian angel.

The bond those two share is such a beautiful, yet bittersweet thing. 🥲
