It has been brought to my attention that this might actually be Yashiki and not Mashita, whoops lol.
Point still stands. I like looking at him lol

THIS IS NOT A DRILL. The author for the Death Mark mangas shared a nomination event currently going on to make a manga into an anime for the 2026 season, and I'm here to share it with you to hopefully get more votes!
The links and how to fill out the form under the cut!
Hello Miss E!!
Could you tell us something fluffy from one of your aus? I’ll let you choose which
Have a lovely day/night <3
OH BOY A WILD CARD. THESE ARE FUN.
Alright you guys remember my Oldies in the Eighties AU? It's sort of old, but I love it and I plan to write a multi chapter fic for it soon. Basic premise is that Sea Grunks era Stan and Ford meet up with their 1980s opposites, in the 1980s.
That means that Post Weirdmageddon Ford, who has watched the world collapse and his brother collapse with it, blank and unaware, is teamed up with Mullet Stan, scrappy and starving and living it rough on the road and out of the backseat of his car.
And Post Portal, Post Weirdmageddon, A Stan that has thirty years of portal work under his belt (and a demon slayer title to boot) meets up with pre paranoid era Ford, who's still wide eyed and oblivious to Bill's plans, and who is living and breathing the world of gravity falls.
Now, obviously this story will contain lots of angsty ass material dont get me wrong but it ALSO provides the best kind of relief for guilt about the past, as in the old grunks get to do things that wish they could have done back then.
Stan starts sabotaging Bill's plans around the house. A scratched out triangle here, a whoops-dropped-this-and-it-broke to a statue here, on and on until, before Bill even realizes, Stan has effectively cut him off. And worse, Stan "reveals something from the future" and takes Ford to the unicorn glade.
And..shall we say, peacefully retrieves some hair. Peacefully.
So, while Ford has no idea, Stan has just effectively given him a huge leg up against Bill.
And for the Sea Grunks era Ford with Mullet Stan?
Ford buys food. Lots of it. And fresh clothing. And god knows what else. Because he remembered (thankfully) to bring cash and, because hes an old man, a checkbook, in his jacket when he got sent back in time. Endless money glitch, apparently, considering the checks wont ever work in this time period and are basically really, really good fakes.
So Ford gets to fulfill the age old regret of making sure Stan is Taken Care Of, and its a relief on an age old regret.
Basically, going back in time to fix your twins problems is the ultimate therapy for your own issues
Hey, it's another comic-friday, yay! ^^ As always, thank you so much for the positive feedback on last week's post - and for your continued support in general! <3 I hope you'll like this one as well, though it's less cute but more on the sad side this time.
I finally managed to finish this comic - @otokowrecker's fanfic "Craniopagus Parasiticus" (I love it so much!! <3) gave me the motivational push to hurry up and get it done this week. xD So, this comic is a small window into Yashiki's past to what happened after he became blind. (Note: It just occured to me that it's probably not very clear to see, but the scene is supposed to play in the hospital 'xD) I haven't fully decided yet what the cause for his blindness should be, but I'm playing with the idea that it could be the result of a spirit incident. That idea being that Yashiki's and Saya's mother died early (also killed by a spirit) and, unable to move on, soon turned into a spirit herself. She was a very loving mother, so her first target became the children. And since Yashiki's spiritual powers - and therefore resistance - always has been weaker (one reason for the cruel treatment of his father towards him), she turned towards him first. But I have no plan how everything would have played out exactly yet. After Yashiki was sent to boarding school, I imagine a friendly teacher helped him write letters to his little sister, this way he was able to keep in contact with Saya over the years. Saya was somehow able to keep the letters a secret from their father. Maybe she had help from someone else - I remember it is mentioned that the family had a butler named Shiba, who appears in the voice drama "A Disastrous Awakening". Having grown fond of the kids himself, Shiba could have been secretly disagreeing with Murasame's cruel treatment of his son and decided to hide the letter from him, when he found it in the letter box, and gave it to Saya later.
Btw. Saya's "magic tree" that is mentioned here is meant to be a Sakaki tree - which is considered sacred in Shinto religion because it is said to build a bridge between humankind and the unseen world. Saya might have sensed the tree's sacred powers even as a child and therefore called it their "magical" tree. Not that it has any real impact on the story, but after doing some research on Japan's religions and folk beliefs I just wanted to add that little detail in. ^^ I'm really not used to drawing children, but I tried my best to draw Yashiki and Saya as cute (and adorable) as possible. Love little sunshine Saya! ^-^ I didn't know how to draw the father, so I just looked up some Japanese-buisnessmen-hairstyles and added a mustache. xD Btw, Murasame is not supposed to be "eyeless", the black shadows hiding his eyes are just my poor attempt to obscure his looks and also make him look even more "agressive", haha. ^^' But since it's been such a long time that Yashiki saw his father I guess it makes sense that he doesn't quite remember his face, though his cruel words have burned themselves into his soul for eternity. Originally for the end of this comic I had wanted to get back into the present again, show Mashita's reaction and make him comfort Yashiki, to end it on a more positive note. But I was so unsure how his reaction would be. Would he be furious about how Yashiki had been treated, or rather offfer silent comfort (and hugs)...? In the end I decided it might be best to just leave it like this. So, sorry for the lack of comfort here. ^^'
I'm sure there's a lot more things I wanted to say to this, but I can't currently recall them and the post is already getting pretty long again, so I guess I'm gonna end it here. Next week I will post a little something to the aforementioned fanfiction - my favorite scene from chapter 2. If you like this blind Yashiki AU and haven't read that fanfic yet, I highly recommend doing it. ^^ Anyway, thanks for taking a look. Have a good week everyone and hopefully see you next time! :)
Here's a couple more updates that came out after my first post:
Under the read more, of course :)

It's friday again!! Hope everyone had a good week! I've been working hard the last few days to finish these pages for today, glad I managed to finish them in time! (Some of these poses were a challenge to draw...) Thank you so much for the positive feedback on the first two parts of this comic!!! <3 Hope you'll like this one as well. ^^
This pics up right after the last page from my last post (Mashita's thoughts about "those eyes" make more sense when read directly after the last part... ^^'). This is inspired by my friend @moonflowerwrites' latest fanfiction The Arms of the Ocean. If you like this comic and haven't already read the fanfic, I highly recommend checking it out! ^^
I had a lot of fun drawing this, and hope I stayed true to the story with my humorous interpretations of some scenes. :D I really loved how Mashita got so caught off guard by that kiss, I imagined him going "wtf?!!" in that second, haha. xD Also, a blushing Yashiki is alwas fun to draw! ^-^ Though, I have to say that I want to take a break on this project here. As enjoyable as it it it to draw this comic, it is also very time consuming and I'd like to give some other ideas a try that are floating around in my head.
Anyway, I hope you all will have a great week! Thanks for taking a look! :)
Happy Man Mansion Monday everyone!
Looks like something is wanting to celebrate your birthday Seiji (June 9th)
part 20 of the kitsune au: final pages !!! im so sorry this took so long </3 art school has rlly taken it out of me :( i never have motivation to do personal art anymore
BUT ANYWAY
ty so much for all of ur support for this comic! you all were the reason i could finish this <3 honestly theres a lot of flaws i wish i could change but regardless, i hope u guys enjoyed this :D
I wanted to talk a bit more about the general banter and things that Moe points out in the DLC, especially in Mashita and Daimon's offices, so I took some screenshots of the background cgs ! My other writeup was long enough and I tried to focus on the plot itself so I'm doing these on a separate post. Also any other tidbits that Moe mentions I found were fun or interactions, since I love learning little things about the characters when they're not spirit hunting.
Spoilers under the cut, I suppose, not much about the actual plot of the DLC though!
It's friday again, time for another Death Mark post! ^^ I managed to finish the short comic, hope you'll like it! Also, thank you guys, for all your nice comments and support, I can never say that enough! <3
As I mentioned last time, my friend @moonflowerwrites helped inspire me for this short comic by mentioning that it would be cute if the girls persuaded Yashiki to style their hair for them, like Saya used to (shown in the art book). Drawing all of the girls for this was a bit too challenging for me at the moment, so I settled on drawing only Ai here, but the other ones at least do appear in that one "flashback" panel on page 2. With this comic I just wanted to create a short and cute "(adopted) family"-moment between Yashiki and one of the Mark Bearers and add a bit of an emotional aspect, by showing scenes from Yashiki's past with his little sister. I just love seeing Yashiki being caught off guard and put into situations he doesn't feel prepared for by the others! xD He does feel a bit shy and unsure about their requests, but he also doesn't have the heart to turn them down, so he's trying his best. And deep inside of him, he realizes that it makes him happy too and is glad to spend time with his friends. ^^
Anyway, thank you for taking a look, I hope you liked this short comic. Let me know what you think about it if you like! ^-^ Wish you all a nice week and see you next time!
I'm here to spread the gospel of the pairing Shou/Abe

Thank you for coming to my ted talk 🙇♀️🙇♀️
Happy 8th anniversary Death Mark! 🥳🍾
Biggest fear for next death mark is that Experience gets too mashitapilled and they give him a boring sexy death instead of an awesome gorey sexy one. I know I said he should have his panties showing but in an ideal world I want a panty flash AND guts spilling out and face being eaten. Because I'm greedy
Something for the recent merman story
Fan Translation for "The Dancing Kissouji" audio drama has been released!
it features a collection of 5 chapters with both death mark and ng characters!
My dream addition to death mark 3 would be a limited inventory mechanic but the catch is that every time you try to throw something out Yashiki makes a really sad noise and gets depressed because he wanted to keep it
