Hi!! I've been on tumblr for a little while now (3 days, i think?) and I've already got a few followers! I thought I'd get down to the basics of things and introduce myself a little bit! Thanks to everyone who has already shown me incredible love and support! <3

I'm a senior in high school hoping to graduate in late May!

Like I said before, I'm a senior in high school. There isn't much going on in this realm, but I am taking a couple of interesting courses! I'd have to say my favorite is mythology and folklore :)
I am headed for university in the fall! I'll be attending a well-known university in my state, studying English Literature - Secondary Education (incredibly specific, i know!). I'm also hoping to get my gen-eds out of the way through a college online to reduce the cost at uni.
Latin and Ancient Greek have always been extremely fascinating to me! I've been practicing Greek through Duolingo for a couple of months and I've been in my Latin class for almost a year

I really enjoy anime! While I prefer the 90s style of animation, I often catch myself appreciating the work of Studio Ghibli.
Crocheting, knitting, and sewing! While I don't do much knitting anymore, I still hold my other crafts near and dear to my heart :) I've been crocheting since I was 8 years old, so it's been almost a decade!
Baking and cooking are another big part of my life. I've been through some pretty intense situations regarding food and my mental health, but I'm glad to be put on the right path :D
The entire cottagecore aesthetic. My best friend and I want to live in a cottage together when I graduate :)

Just meeting new people and finding amazing friends through my studies! I know smaller communities can be pretty amazing when you're feeling alone, especially in the pandemic!
Share my knowledge with others as well as absorb some :)
Make some great progress in my online note-taking skills. I've always taken my notes by hand, but it seems easier and less chaotic to take them online!

So today I spent in correcting some errors in couple of my assignments, it took me 3-4 hrs so it was tiring. Other than that I did some accounts practice as my goal is to get better marks in it so I m trying to do it everyday and read a chapter from eco.
5 March 2021 | In the thick of studying for my oral comprehensive exam at the moment so I’ll likely remain rather quiet for a bit longer. In the meantime, prayers are very much appreciated!
5th March 2021: I have had a really busy morning but I hope I’ll have time to finish reading the new Beowulf translation this afternoon.
Zoomester Studyblr Challenge day four - for my researching fellows, what are you researching?
My focus is on Elizabethan and Jacobean drama but I can’t talk about my actual research topic until after I’ve completed my PhD. It’s so frustrating because I really want to share my research topic but I have to stick to the rules!
