learning japanese (i do use duolingo sorry. but also use wanikani/tofugu and kanshudo most. also i don't really do anime/manga anymore but i used to very much so i am acquainted)

movies but basically old movies and probably horror most of the time (maybe including non-irl gore so be aware), i like weird things, genre film, psychotronica etc

twitch streamers, very occasionally indie vtubers but my favs are zfg (♥︎♡♥︎) and jall tho i am also into the vinny/joel/simpleflips/jerma/vidyabum milieu. i realize that that's a lot of dudes so some girls i watch: limes, buffpup, clauvio, henemimi, clown_depot, kokonuts, to name a few

fiber arts particularly knitting, crochet, friendship bracelets, needlework (embroidery, cross-stitch, blackwork [!!!!], needlepoint, things of that nature), maybe sewing but i suck at it (tbh i don't post about these things that much rn but i'm putting it out there)

doing my first punch needle kit. i seeeeeeeee. it's interesting but i don't love it. punch part seems huge, do they have different sizes of these things? i think i prefer more precise i.e. counted things. this is also why i'm not great at freehand/surface embroidery

there's someone in a stream i'm watching trying to get a message thru to the steamer (joel) asking him to stop joking about fentanyl bc their friend died of an overdose. it just made me think of all the jokes about schizophrenia and psychosis and hearing voices i see everywhere on twitch and the internet in general. i guess i could maybe see joel listening bc i think he's a kind person at heart but that person is going to have a hard time stopping everyone in every stream and chat

i've kind of accepted that it's on me in my case no matter how much it pisses me off. it's impossible to avoid without total retreat from like everything
