Youth liberation is such a "where are you going with this" topic. Like, yes children lack a lot of freedoms. Yes that's bad when the adults responsible for them are being abusive. No there's not an easy fix because they don't have autonomy yet. They aren't just legally tied to a parent or guardian; they NEED one until they can manage without. And there are in fact, people beyond their home environments who may also mean them harm- people who you might find in unusual numbers on the internet, especially on poorly-regulated social media sites with a lot of gullible, desperate kids with a reputation for talking stupid nonsense about sexuality and being on bad terms with their folks. So it's really important to pay attention to the proposed action- the one liberating the youth. Just to be sure it is in fact, a sensible and well-meaning solution. As opposed to pro-trafficking shit.
