Todays Self Care idea: Take a 20-minute power nap. If you canât sleep, lying down and closing your eyes also helps to feel more rested.
Thanks to everyone who has followed this month in selfcare project! I still have a few self care ideas left, that I will post sporadically over the next weeks. Â I hope youâve all enjoyed it so far and could take away some basic strategies for your own selfcare :)
Todays Self Care idea: Try a new recipe, e.g. with ingredients that you have never eaten or a new cuisine
Todays Self Care idea: Write a story about the funniest thing that ever happened to you. If you want, share it with a friend.
Todays Self Care idea: What do your friends like about you? Ask 3 friends of yours what they appreciate about you. Write down the answers and continue adding uplifting statements in the future.
Todays Self Care idea: Take care of a plant. Get a potted plant to take care of regularly or work in a garden.
Todays Self Care idea is a breathing exercise for stress and anxiety:Â
Inhale for 6 seconds -Â hold your breath for 6 seconds â exhale for 6 seconds. Repeat the exercise for 2 minutes.
Todays Self Care idea: Ask someone for help with a current problem. New angles or a helping hand can make things a lot easier.
Todays Self Care idea: Time for a break. Plan a  spa day for yourself, a trip or small vacation that you always wanted to do.
