December 13 || When do you buy your Christmas gifts?

As early as October.. Otherwise my mom wouldn’t stop talking about it how we could get caught in rush hours.

We don’t do that here. Although this year, I finally started earning money so I bought gifts for everyone :D

December 15 || What is the coolest gift you ever gave to someone?

I wasn’t able to give it because we had parted ways but I think the coolest gift that I’ve bought is an arc reactor (like in iron movies) that I’ve assembled myself.

December 16 || What is your favorite Christmas movie?

Klaus (2019). It is a bit of new movie but if we’re talking about something old, I think I’ll go for A Christmas Carol (2009)

It is officially my last first day of school (jk I’m doing a Master’s). Somehow have carved out time to actually do uni work in preparation for my first lecture of the year tomorrow – new year new me amirite?

5/9/19 This time last year, I had just finished doing my exams in the summer, after deferring them from June to August as I had a mental breakdown and lost my ability to read. After the isolation at Bristol, studying while all my friends enjoyed their summers, I spent evenings waiting for autumn… This was me looking back over my notes for my final exam of that year. xx Emily

update! taking a year out of med and doing a masters is simultaneously the best and worst decision i’ve ever made, but having all this time to do stuff that i havent previously been able to do whilst at uni is such a bonus

plus in 6 months when i’m inevitably overwhelmed i’ll think of this v fondly
