Summary: King Foolish finding Red faction's exiled member
Pairing: tr!Foolish x Fawn (Reader)
Warnings: None
A/N: I came back from the dead, I have Realm Smp brainrot
The factions were divided, it had always been like that, King Foolish knew this very well, the yellow faction known too as the kingdom of fools was a fairly pacific faction, the other were neutral to the monarchy, or hostile, everyone has an opinion about the king, some loved him, some hated him, assassinations attempts were falling on him the rain on his shoulders...
King Foolish walked on his land from his bridge to Tubbo's tavern, he was not doing much, his activities were simple, fishing or archery, the droplets of water fell on him, wetting through his clothes.
"Where are you off to, my leige?" Tubbo asked
"To the gnome hole, I'm running low on chicken" King Foolish responded to the tavern keeper and friend
"Townsfolk say there's someone living on the gnome hole" Tubbo warned "A exiled member of the hostile faction"
"I wasn't informed" Foolish says, brushing off said information "I have my bow, I'll be fine"
There was a short silence
"Either way, my Lord, I suggest carefulness" Tubbo warned again
After that King Foolish continued his journey to the now abandoned underground base that used to be from the Honey Badgers, once he was on the forest that surrounded the base, the King went down the stairs, and as he reached the bottom, he saw a figure, huddled behind a chest
A woman, her hair was dripping wet, so were her clothes, smudged with dirt, her legs up to her chest as if she was shielding herself from the cold and the rain, then, in that situation, the King felt an overwhelming compassion
"Excuse me, lady" He called her attention
"Wait!" The woman exclaimed, "Don't come any closer!"
"I won't hurt you," King Foolish replied reassuringly, keeping his distance
"But..." The woman trailed off, her voice barely audible
"Just trust me" the king pleaded "I won't harm you"
"I thought no one would find me here" The mysterious woman whispers
"Well, I found you" the king replied with a faint smile "What's your name?"
"Fawn" The woman responded
"Fawn," the king repeated, taking a mental note of her name, her name was quite familiar to the king, almost as if it was a resonance of other lifes "May I ask why you were hiding down here?"
"My faction, they thought I wasn't good enough, that my abilities and ideals didn't aligned with theirs" Fawn responded "They want to kill, and I want to protect, to care"
"So, they just exiled you?" King Foolish asked
"Yes" Fawn replied bitterly "They couldn't accept my differences, so they cast me out, I'm not hostile enough for them, I'm just sad and resented, that's what they said"
"But you didn't have to live down here in the dark and cold," the king said, gesturing towards the damp surroundings
"I have nowhere else to go, my Lord" Fawn responded
"Come with me," the king instructed, extending his arm towards her "You'll freeze if you spend any longer down here.
Fawn hesitantly stood up, her body shivering slightly from being soaked in rain. "Where are you taking me?" She asked warily
"To my castle, there you'll be treated right and you will be safe, I'll make sure of that" The king said, Fawn could see the sincerity in those emerald green eyes
"But my Lord" Fawn tried to oppose to it but there was no use in trying to make the king change his mind
King Foolish stood there, in front of her, in his most regal clothing, his emerald eyes fixed on her raven hair, the apparent softness of her skin
Fawn found herself captivated by the king's kindness and the promise of safety he offered
"But... what if they try to attack the castle? I mean, my faction," she stammered, her protective nature kicking in.
King Foolish smiled softly, sensing her concern.
"Fear not," he assured her. "My castle is heavily fortified, and my soldiers are equipped to repel any attacks."
Fawn's eyes widened in surprise and doubt.
"You would risk everything for a single exiled member? Wouldn't you be putting yourself in danger?" she asked
"Risk always comes with any duty one takes," he replied, his tone firm yet gentle.
Fawn remained skeptical, her mind still swirling with doubts. But amidst her hesitations, she also felt a warmth emanating from the King's heart.
She glanced at him, the raindrops still clinging to his eyelashes, and she caught a glimpse of his vulnerability.
"How can you be so sure that I won't cause trouble? That my presence won't be a burden to your people?" she asked, her voice laced with worry.
The King chuckled softly, a mixture of amusement and assurance.
"Fawn, you underestimate yourself," he said gently. "Your presence could bring a new perspective, a voice of reason that we might sorely need."
Fawn's protective instincts urged her to stay skeptical, but there was a part of her that wanted to believe in the King's words.
"And my people?" she pressed, her concern deepening.
"They were not your people" The King responded "You are not hostile, you are just scared...I knew a woman like you once, in another realm, she was soft, under that pretend hostility she carried"
Fawn raised an eyebrow, surprised by the King's knowledge of her hidden softness.
"How do you know?" she asked, her voice tinged with a hint of defensiveness.
"Well, this woman I knew on another realm, in a realm where I wasn't King, but something else" He started "She hated me, she hated that was even breathing, and all I wanted to do was just build my temple...but she was insistent, she still is, somewhere, whenever that is, I see much of her in you"
Fawn's expression softened, a mixture of surprise and curiosity in her eyes.
"And what happened to this woman?" she asked, her wariness giving way to a glimmer of interest.
"That, I do not know" King Foolish responded "I was hoping to see her again, like we agreed, but she never came back"
Fawn's frown deepened, a mix of sadness and confusion washing over her.
"You never saw her again... And you still look for her?" she questioned, her curiosity tugging at her.
"I was, but I think she will find me soon" The king responded, offering his hand to her, so they could start walking towards the castle
Fawn paused for a moment, contemplating the king's words. A part of her wanted to remain skeptical, to maintain her protective stance. But there was something in his eyes that pulled on her heartstrings.
Slowly, she reached out and took his hand, her touch gentle and unsure.
"You are safe with me, sweetheart" The King said
Words that moved something in her mind, it felt like the weight of a past was falling on her, the term of endearment moved memories in her, memories from before the keepers of the realm threw her, quite literally, on this realm
Sweetheart, it has a familiar warmth to her
Fawn felt the familiar weight of those old memories too, as if the word "sweetheart" had unleashed a torrent of emotions within her.
She clutched the king's hand tighter, her body shivering slightly.
"How... did you know that word would affect me?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I said that woman I knew would find me" Foolish said simply "And she did"
Fawn let out a small gasp, her mind working double-time to make sense of the king's words.
"You're saying... I'm her?" she asked, her voice laced with a mix of disbelief and anticipation.
"What did the Keeper do to your mind, my dear?" The King asked
Fawn flinched at the question, the mention of the Keeper bringing back a wave of painful memories. But there was something about the king's tone, the way he addressed her, that made her want to trust him.
"The Keeper... they erased a lot of things" she admitted, her voice wavering with vulnerability.
"Makes complete sense" He murmurs "Don't worry, my darling, you'll remember eventually"
Fawn felt a pang in her chest at the king's words, a mixture of relief and anxiety coursing through her.
"Remember... what, exactly?" she asked, her grip on his hand tightening.
"Everything, your life in other realms" He whispers "Me? Hopefully"
Fawn's heart skipped a beat at the king's words. Memories from other realms started to flicker in her mind, hazy and indistinct, but they were there.
"I... I remember fragments," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "But it's all so jumbled..."
"It's alright, you don't have to force anything" The King responded "It will come back, now that I found you"
Fawn felt a sense of comfort in his words, a reassurance that the memories would return to her in time.
"How long do you think it will take?" she asked, her eyes searching his face for answers.
"I don't know, but I have all the time in the world to wait" He responded
Fawn couldn't help but smile, the king's words melting some of the fear and anxiety she felt about this newfound memory loss.
"You truly are an enigma, Your Majesty," she teased gently, her confidence returning slightly.
"I've been told that a few times" He says "It's not the first time you tell me that"
Fawn's eyes widened as realization dawned on her. Something about this conversation felt eerily familiar, as if they've been through this before.
"We've had this conversation before, haven't we?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper.
"On our realm, when you pretended to hate me, when I was not a King" He says
Fawn's breath hitched, the revelation settling heavily on her shoulders. She remembered now, fragments of the past starting to piece together.
"So... we knew each other before?" she asked, her eyes fixed on his face.
"I knew your soul better than I knew mine" Foolish responded "We were one"
Fawn's heart skipped a beat as the memory returned in full force. The connection, the familiarity, all making perfect sense now.
"We were... one?" she repeated, the words ringing in her ears.
"After the few bumps in the road, so to speak, I fell in love" He said "And I was yours, we were one"
Fawn's eyes widened as the memory continued to unfold before her. The pain, the hurt, all slowly becoming clear. And yet, beneath it all, there was love. Deep, profound love.
"We loved each other," she breathed, her voice barely above a whisper.
"We certainly did" He replied
Fawn's heart ached with a mix of pain and longing. The love they shared, the memories they had... it was too much.
"What happened?" she asked, her voice cracking. "Why are things so different now?"
"The rules of this realm are different to the one we came from" He says, holding her hand firmly "You were gone, I looked for you, and then I woke up in this realm without you"
Fawn felt a pang of despair at the king's words. The absence of the realm she knew, the separation from him, it all hit her like a wave of cold water.
"Why couldn't we follow each other..." she whispered, her grip on his hand tightening.
"You went somewhere else, it took the keepers about eight months into getting you here" Foolish says "I couldn't even sleep knowing you were away, my sweet love, I was desperate"
Fawn's heart ached at his words, the pain and desperation in his voice mirroring her own feelings.
"Eight months..." she whispered, barely able to comprehend the enormity of that period of separation.
Foolish nodded, he pushed back his crown, crouching down a little to pick her up and carry her to the castle
Fawn gasped gently, startled by the sudden movement. But as the king picked her up effortlessly, she relaxed, the weight of her own anxiety lifting slightly.
"I must be a burden," she mumbled, though neither of them let go.
"No, my love, you are not" He reassured
Fawn felt a flutter in her chest at the term of endearment, the warmth spreading through her body.
"But I'm drenched, and cold, and tired. You must be exhausted," she protested weakly.
"I can forget my exhaustion if that means I can focus on you, my love" Foolish says "Let me make sure you're safe, you'll be dry and warm soon"
Fawn's breath caught in her throat at his words. The tenderness in his voice, the way he referred to her as "love"... it was almost too much.
"You are far too kind," she whispered, leaning her head against his shoulder.
"Maybe, but I'm just taking care of my woman, so it's fine" He responded
Fawn felt her heart skip a beat, warmth spreading through her at the possessive undertone of the king's words.
"You're really treating me like... your woman?" she asked, her voice laced with a mixture of surprise and disbelief.
Fawn's eyes welled up with tears, the overwhelming emotion washing over her. She had been so lost, so alone without him in that realm. And to think that he felt the same way... it was both beautiful and unbearable.
"You must have been so lonely," she murmured, her voice cracking.
"I was" He murmurs, kissing her cheek, almost nuzzling against her soft skin
Fawn couldn't help but close her eyes, the feel of his lips on her skin sending shivers down her spine. It was so good to feel this closeness, this familiarity
"I'm... I'm sorry for leaving you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
"It wasn't your choice, my love" He murmurs
The term of endearment sent a flutter through Fawn's chest, and she snuggled closer to the king.
"I wish... I wish I could've stayed," she admitted, her voice choked with emotion.
Fawn shuddered at the mention of the Keepers, the memory of their cold eyes and harsh words still fresh in her mind.
"I wish that too, sweetheart, but you're here now, and the Keepers would have to kill me, if they want to take you again" Foolish whispers
"I don't want to ever see them again," she whispered, her voice laced with fear.
"They are very involved with the kingdom, I fear" The King responded "But I'll burn everything if they ever dare to lay another finger on you again"
"You don't even know the lengths I would go to keep you safe and protected, my love" He murmurs
Fawn found herself believing his words without question. The sheer conviction in his voice, the fire in his eyes... she knew he meant every word.
"You're an incredible man," she whispered, her fingertips tracing his jawline.
"You made me better" He murmurs, stopping at magnificent yellow castle Ros built in so little time "Your new home"
Fawn's eyes widened as the king carried her into the enormous, golden castle. She couldn't believe her eyes, the grandiosity and warmth welcoming her.
"This is... my home?" she asked, her voice a mix of amazement and disbelief.
"Our home" He says "My home is where you are"
Fawn's heart fluttered at the term "our home". It felt right, natural, like she belonged here with him.
"What... what must I do now that I'm here?" she asked, her eyes wandering around the grand halls of the castle.
"Whatever you desire" He said
Fawn's eyebrows shot up. "Whatever I desire?" she repeated, half in disbelief, half in excitement.
"I can do... anything?"
"I know you like horseback riding, we have a stable, also an archery target field, you can even do fishing, if you desire" He murmurs, entering the castle and lowering her to the ground
The mention of horse riding and archery made Fawn's eyes light up, a warm smile spreading across her face.
"I would love to try all those things," she assured him, her excitement evident in her voice. "But there is one thing I desire more than anything else...?
"What is that?" He asked
Fawn's heart pounded in her chest as she stood in front of the king, her own emotions threatening to overwhelm her.
"I desire your presence," she confessed, her eyes meeting his. "Being near you, feeling your touch..."
"Well, you have me, my Queen" He murmurs
Fawn's heart skipped a beat at the new title. Queen. His Queen.
"You're going to spoil me rotten," she teased lightly, her gaze never leaving his.
"When have I not?" He laughed
He guided her into the bathroom, to let her get changed into something more comfortable and also dry, and once she was dry, he tucked her into his bed
"There would be time for everything" Foolish murmurs "But right now, I need you to rest"
He moved towards the door, turning the light off, letting his beloved rest
"I'm not tired" Fawn complained
"You literally sound exhausted" He murmurs, moving around his room, taking his wet clothes and drying himself, to put on his sleep clothes, and finally laying with her, pulling her closer to him.

Elves and humans shared the mortal world without conflict, that until the eighteenth century, where the great elven war against the mortals took place, when humans disturbed and destroyed what was their forest
King Noah swore to hate humanity for the rest of his day, which was conveniently was all eternity
The young woman walked the path deeper into the forest unaware of the danger of the dark, steep nature that surrounded her
"Careful, human!" Called out Noah as he appeared in front of her
Humans have not been allowed on elven grounds in several centuries, the man approached her with suspicion
"I'm sorry" The woman was quick to say as she back tracked "Please, don't hurt me"
Noah looked at the young mortal woman before him, her fear sent a tinge of guilt through him, he could tell she had no ill intentions
"What is a human doing in elven territory, mortal?" He asked the woman
"I was just walking, I love nature, I like picking flowers" She said "I did not mean to intrude in your territory"
Noah's face softened slightly when he saw her sincerity, the woman was young and beautiful, and her admiration for nature reminded him of his own people
"Very well, you may pick flowers but no more than ten, as you are not allowed further into elven territory" He said softly "May I ask your name, mortal?"
"My name's Sabrina" The brunette woman responded "I will go back to the limit between worlds now"
"You are a very beautiful woman, Sabrina" As Noah said this his face remained stoic, but his eyes seemed to shine as he looked at her
"I could show you a place you could pick all the flowers you wanted, but you must first agree to something if you go with me"
"A simple thing, Sabrina" He said his voice full of amusement
"When we get to the flower picking grounds, you must tell me your favorite flower" The corner of his mouth turned up slightly as his eyes glowed with teasing playfulness
"I will" She responded simply, as it didn't seem like something too difficult
"Very well, follow me"
Noah turned and began walking further in the forest, occasionally glancing back to make sure she followed
A few minutes later they reached a beautiful clearing, the grass was long but soft, and everywhere were colorful wildflowers
Sabrina let out an audible gasp as she saw the field of flowers "They are very beautiful"
Noah watched with a slight smile on his face at her reaction as she took in the sight before them
"Please go and pick as many as you like, but no more than a hundred" He said, his eyes on her, his words full of amusement as he thought of that last condition, hoping she would take the bait
The woman simply nodded as she goes along the tall grass, he watched her pick the flowers, his gaze following her movements, he couldn't help but admire her simple beauty, her dark hair and olive complexion, and the way the afternoon sunlight seem to dance around her, almost like a aura
"Have you found your favorite one?" He called out to her after a moment, his voice full of curiosity and teasing
"I did" She says, her hand full of various different flowers with an array of color, showing the king a simple and ordinary dandelion "I've liked them since I was a kid"
"A dandelion? Is that seriously your favorite?" Noah couldn't help but laugh, the innocent choice was so unexpected that he was caught off guard, it made his heart beat faster
He had expected a rose, or a sunflower, or maybe even a lily, but a dandelion? How curious
"Yeah, well, yellow is my favorite color, I used to pick them on my way to school" Sabrina explained "I like a lot of flowers but this is my favorite"
"I can see why such a simple little flower would be your favorite, they often grow in the most inconvenient places" He mused as he looked over her, taking in the sight before him
"I can see now why you have captured my interest mortal, I can see the sweetness in your soul" A sudden realization hit him, his voice serious as he asked "How old are you, mortal?"
Noah's heart fell slightly at hearing her answer, he had known she was a mortal, but not a young mortal, he was much older than a thousand years
"I am three centuries, if you must know" He stated, his voice filled with a heavy weight he bore from all his years "How very odd it is that I find someone that I am so intrigued with after this long, and the universe places such a large age gap between us" He chuckled, it was as much a joke to himself as it was to her
"Well, destiny can be a curious thing" Sabrina simply said as she chuckles with him
He looked at her with slight admiration in his eyes, her lighthearted manner of speaking was something foreign to him, after years of being surrounded by warriors and elders, he found her refreshing and her light personality seemed to melt away some of his hard edges
"Perhaps that is true" He said his voice soft as he watched her, his eyes full of curiosity as he spoke "Tell me Sabrina, do you have a lover, something of a sweetheart?"
"I did, but he was a dumbass" She responded casually to his question, trying not to show how nervous it made her
She was straightforward and to the point, something he respected, yet also found endearing
"So it is true, all human men are foolish in nature" He gave her a teasing smile, and raised an eyebrow as he asked "How did this sweetheart manage to lose you, how can someone be so daft to let such a beautiful woman slip through their fingers?"
"Well, he was controlling, manipulating, pretentious" Sabrina responded "Things that he kept hidden until we were together for a while"
Anger boiled in his chest as she spoke of her ex lover, his fists clenched tightly as he struggled to contain his anger
"How dare he disrespect you in such a manner!" He exclaim loudly "That fool of a human! I assure you, my dear Sabrina, you deserve much better than an immature buffoon like that"
"And as king of the elven realm, I will see to that you obtain a proper love! You deserve someone who will love you, treasure you, and will protect you from all harm"
"Can you do that?" Sabrina said, a little shocked for his tone
"Of course I can!" He answered, he was still very upset at the thought of this mortal hurting her "I can do anything. I am the king after all! And I will personally see to it that you receive the man you deserve!"
"It's the least I can do for such a beautiful woman, after you have intrigued me so" He stated with a slight smirk, his eyes gleaming with a playful energy
"Could... could you be that man?" Sabrina asked hesitant, her breathing got fast, she was not used to being so bold but there was something in him that got her.
He froze, his heart skipping a beat, he had not expected her to ask such a thing, but the way her voice trembled when she spoke, filled him with a sense of wonder
"Me?" He asked, his voice incredulous, but the excitement in his eyes could not be masked
"Are you sure you wouldn't prefer someone younger?" He questioned her, his eyes searching hers for sincerity, wanting to make sure she was serious
"I could but I don't want to" Sabrina responded, looking up at him as she said it
He stared at her for a moment, he couldn't believe it, after centuries of loneliness he had finally found a woman that made his heart stir, he knew he had to protect her from any other foolish mortal men
"Very well then" He replied, giving her a rare warm smile "I shall be your love, no other man will have you. It will be my great honor to protect your heart and love you"
"I will love you as well" Sabrina whispers, now that he was closer, she could see how his dark eyes displayed kindness, even when he presented himself to be so cold and stoic "Your eyes are beautiful, the most beautiful"
His heart skipped as she whispered those words, the sincerity in her voice soothed his old soul, his chest was filled with a feeling he had never experienced, he wanted to protect her and bring her joy
He caressed her face gently, his eyes shining with something akin to affection as they gazed upon her "And you are far more beautiful than any flower, no flower can compare to your grace" He murmured softly
She was right, he had not told her his name, and the thought sent a spark of excitement through his chest "How curious, that we have been speaking for so long and I have simply been 'King' to you"
His fingers traced along the lines of her face, relishing in how delicate her mortal skin was, it was no wonder his people thought humans to be so soft
"My name is Noah" He said finally, his eyes shining as they stared into hers
"Noah..." She repeated his name in gentle whisper
He shivered slightly at the sound of his name falling from her lips so delicately, her voice was a melody and the way she said it made it as if the name was never uttered until just then
He leaned in just a bit closer than before, his hand resting around her waist as he looked down at her, "Say it again" he quietly demanded
Her voice was like a spell, it made him want to wrap the woman in his arms fully and carry her to his kingdom
"One last time, say my name once more, my love" He whispered, his hand now resting on the lower part of her back, pulling her ever so slightly closer
"Noah..." Sabrina whispers again, loving that he seemed to like the way she said it "Kiss me"
He could not deny her any request, and her whispered plea made his heart race
He leaned down and captured her lips in a gentle, yet passionate kiss. His hand cupped her delicate jaw, holding her close to him as his mouth lightly devoured her own, as they parted, Sabrina offered him her precious dandelion, he gave a lighthearted scoff at the dandelion, but his eyes shone with affection as he took the dandelion from her, twirling the stem between his fingers
"You really are a curious woman" He said, he was amused by the simplicity of the offer. He brought her fingers up to his mouth and lightly kissed them "Such a silly woman" he added softly, his voice full of adoration
"Curiousity is a good thing when this world is so much better than my own" Sabrina whispers "So much vivid and interesting"
"This world is nothing compared to the beauty of you" He said, his eyes locked onto hers "And this dandelion you love is nothing compared to you, my lovely Sabrina"
He held onto her hand, and began to lead her away from the clearing and back into the forest
"I don't think I can let you go back now, you have entranced me, and you're coming back with me to the Elven realm, we'll see just how curious you are now"
"I don't want you to let me go, neither I want to leave" Sabrina whispers
A small smile graced his features at the response "Then that is settled" He chuckled, there was a hint of playfulness, yet also something else in his voice as he led her deeper into his territory
"Though you must promise me one thing, my love," he said as his hand tightened around their intertwined fingers "Promise me you'll never give your heart to any other man, promise that you're mine now"
"I promise" Was all Sabrina could say, feeling like all of this was a dream.
