How to stream ‘Fine Line’ from the UK
1. Download a proxy server such as tunnel bear or hola or zenmate or browsec
2. Turn on the proxy and change the location to the UK
3. Create a new account. your location should be the UK
3. Go to https://www.spotify.com/uk/ make sure the bottom of the page says ‘UK’. if it doesn’t, change it. create a new account using that email.
4. Click the ‘charts’ option, and see if it includes the uk charts.
5. click the ‘settings’ button at the very bottom left hand corner of the screen (it looks like a gear) HTTPS://PLAY.SPOTIFY.COM/SETTINGS
6. Click the ‘view account’ button right under the username centered at the top of the page.
7. Click ‘edit profile’ on the left hand corner of the screen.
8. Go to HTTP://POSTAL-CODE.CO.UK/ and click somewhere in uk on the map. under the searchbar saying ‘find postcode by address’, you will see the location information for the place that you clicked. copy that postal code.
9. Go back to the edit profile tab and enter in the postal code. the country should say ‘united kingdom’. press ‘save profile’.
10. Close the edit profile tab
11. Here is a playlist or you can use your own playlist.
12. Play the playlist until you hear ads. if the ads are uk-based, then it worked!
if you do not hear ads, you may have adblock on or be using a premium account. if you had a uk based playlist in that overview screen and everything else is uk based, you should be fine.
if it didn’t work, uninstall the proxy, and try these steps again using a different proxy. you may also try signing up for a uk-based facebook account (i had problems when i did this, but you can try).
13. You only have to listen to the song for 35 seconds for it to count as a play.
14. Only 10 STREAMS PER ACCOUNT PER DAY count for the UK Official Charts. To get around this limitation, you can CREATE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS and stream from each 10 TIMES.
