Say No to Ngilo with Sensodyne
Ever since I was I child I experienced having pangingilo while eating my favorite ice cream. Then my dentist advised me to use Sensodyne’s to stop the sensitivity. Did you know that 9 out of 10 Filipinos who suffer from sensitive teeth or pangingilo, “sensitive” is a bit of an understatement to describe the delicate condition of their teeth.
Sensodyne is the #1 sensitivity toothpaste in the Philippines, and its recommended by dentists, affirmed its commitment to create a future where every Filipino is sensitivity-free with the “Say No to Ngilo” advocacy.
“Having sensitive teeth can mean anything from getting a mild twinge to having severe discomfort that can last for several hours. It can also be an early warning sign of more serious dental problems.” said Dr. Rannier Reyes of the Philippine Periodontal Society.
Sensitive teeth occurs when the layer of enamel becomes thin and exposes the softer dentine underneath. This soft layer makes up the inner part of the tooth leading to the tooth’s nerve center and triggers the pain you feel.
Other things that can cause sensitive teeth are:
Brushing too hard or using a hard bristled toothbrush
Teeth grinding
Gingivitis (gum disease)
Receding Gums
“For those who have sensitive teeth like me, I know you’d agree that it is not something you can just ignore. Sensitive teeth can ruin the mood of any romantic date, or stop you from enjoying those unforgettable moments with your loved ones,” Sensodyne brand ambassador, Luis Manzano shares.
This year they launched the new Sensodyne Mouthwash to complement its toothpaste and complete its expert sensitivity regimen to help consumers put an end to teeth sensitivity.
“We highly recommend that you use the Sensodyne mouthwash together with the Sensodyne toothpaste to give clinically proven relief and daily protection for pangingilo,” says Heather Pelier, Incoming Consumer Healthcare General Manager, GSK Philippines.
Sensodyne Mouthwash has all the benefits of a regular mouthwash like providing lasting freshening effect, and fluoride to strengthen teeth and protect against decay. The good thing is it’s alcohol-free plus it gives pangingilo relief. It has two variants Cool Mint and Extra Fresh 250mL at Php165 SRP. You can buy the mouthwash in your nearest major supermarkets and drugstores nationwide.
So, if you have pangingilo, switching to Sensodyne to replace your regular toothpaste and mouthwash can make a big difference not only in your enjoyment of everyday life, but also in your overall oral health.
I can now enjoy my favorite Nutella ice cream by Kool Kids (a fresh made to order liquid nitrogen ice cream) without worrying about pangingilo.
Don’t let the pain of sensitivity get in the way. Say No to Ngilo and Yes to those Great Little Moments!

Early dismissal at work means more time for bonding! My colleague and I tried this new Korean coffee shop in Taft. Its called Cafe Travel. They have a unique concept of a coffee shop. Its very relaxing place to talk with your friends. Also, you can see post-it notes on the wall. We ordered Travel Green Tea and Travel Java Chip. I must recommend their green tea. Its very delicious! Another cool thing about this place is that they will take your picture and you can place it in their tree of memories. ❤

Korea Travel Diary: Goong
This is the last travel diary for Korea. The word Goong means Palace. It was our last day in Seoul, we explored around Gyeongbokgung palace which is one of the largest palace in Seoul. This reminds me of the Kdrama Princess Hours and Dae Jang Guem.
I love autumn ❤
After our historical tour we went to Insa-dong.
They sell traditional goods and souvenirs.
Flowers ❤
This man is demonstrating how to do calligraphy.
We had a last minute shopping of bags! All bags outside cost 10,000 KRW. Insadong sells it cheaper than in Myeongdong or Dongdaemun.
I recommend this Korean restaurant in Insa-dong. The food tastes good and the price is reasonable. A set meal that is good for 3 to 4 persons cost around 15,000 KRW.
Hanbok (Korean traditional clothes) rentals fee cost 3,000 KRW for each dress. Just bring your own camera for one hour picture taking session.
My mom and I wearing Hanbok. ^_^
It was indeed a fun trip in Seoul. I am truly grateful for the blessings that God has blessed me with. Til my next Korean trip!~ ❤
A must try street food in South Korea
Whenever I go to new place, I usually try street foods. As they say, food reflects the people and culture.. Here are some of my favorite street food in Korea:
1. Tteokbokki - Korean snack food made from soft rice cake, fish cake and sweet red chili sauce.
2. Odeng - fish cake served with soup.
3. Bungeoppang - fish cake with red bean filling.
4. Gyeran bbang - egg bread
5. Hotteok - Korean pancake that is usually eaten during the winter season.
Which one is your favorite? ^^

A unique way to present a menu that will fit the concept of the restaurant.
Rise and shine and have an Adobo sunrise!
Something healthy, fresh and so tasty! Try the Poached Salmon Aioli.
Lemon Butter Bangus, a delightful new twist to your regular daing na bangus.
Katsu Tocino, your regular tocino with a Japanese flair.
The much awaited Puto bumbong pancakes, a different twist to your regular pancake.

Korea Travel Diary: Autumn Sonata
Four years ago, I prayed to God that I may celebrate my birthday in Seoul but the timing isn't right. There is a saying "God's perfect timing", you just have to wait for God's perfect timing and He will say YES to your prayers. It was such a blessing from God that I could celebrate my birthday in South Korea. Traveling with my mom is one of the greatest gift God gave me. It was a mother-daughter bonding time.
Nature trip is our itinerary on my birthday - Namiseom or Nami Island. Place of my favorite Korean drama when I was in high school, "Winter Sonata".
Tips on how to go to Nami Island:
From subway transfer to Cheongnyangni station, take ITX to Gapyeong station: 4,000 KRW
From Gapyeong station, ride a taxi to Gapyeong port: 3,000 KRW
Ride a ferry boat to Nami Island: 8.000 KRW
Cheongnyangni Station beside Lotte Department Store.
Their train station is so nice! Purchase ITX ticket to Gapyeong station. Don't worry they speak English. =)
From Gapyeong Station, take a taxi to Gapyeong port. There are also bus available which cost 5,000 KRW good for one day.
From Gapyeong port, you can choose which transportation you will use to Nami Island: Zip-wire or Ferry boat.
If you watched We Got Married, Leeteuk and Kang Sora rode the zip-wire.
We decided to take the Ferry boat.
It was my first time to ride a ferry. It only took 5 minutes to reach the island.
Finally, Nami Island!
Where to go first?
Say hello to the wild Ostrich!
Its amazing how the island is not only about the Winter Sonata, also they have the UNICEF hall and gallery of artworks.
MBC broadcasting station is one of the coolest place i saw in Nami. They have a studio here which you can become a news anchor.
We had lunch here at the Winter Sonata Cafe. They serve authentic Korean lunch box.
Tuna lunchbox. Its super delicious! =) Just make sure to shake the lunchbox. You'll discover after shaking the food tastes so good!
Korean Pancake
I really love this shot. The lovers in Nami.
The famous tree lane of the Kdrama Winter Sonata. I really love the Autumn season. <3 (say hello to the photo bomber :> )
The statue of Joon Sang and Yoo Jin.
Time for a quick break. We had red bean steamed buns for snack.
Here's my techie mom resting while using her IPAD. =))
Experiencing how to warm myself for a moment in a traditional way.
If you want to stay overnight, they have hotels available. Visit www.namisum.com
Inside the Nami shop there is a replica of the snowman Joon Sang and Yoo Jin made in the drama.
I've seen a lot of ceramic dolls in Korea. Their craftsmanship is impeccable.
Me and my snow friends. Wish I could take them to Manila to bring happiness. ^_^ It was a fun filled day in Nami Island. I am blessed to see this wonderful creation that God has made. Will travel back to Seoul tired but happy.
More Korea post soon!

Korea Travel Diary: Namsangol Hanok Village
Namsangol Hanok Village is a traditional Korean village. It is also known as "A Village of Traditional Houses in the Namsan Valley". From Chungmuro Station exit 4. Walk along Hanongmaeul-gil street and you will see the entrance into the Hanok Village. Admission is free.
I really love this shot! It portrays the wonderful feeling of feeding the pigeons.
My mom posing at the Run @ Seoul Week campaign.
They are playing the traditional game called "tuho" (arrow throwing).
Korean sandals
More Seoul post soon! ♥
Korea Travel Diary: Love at N Seoul Tower
What comes to your mind when you hear N Seoul Tower? For me, love locks and where they shot the scene of Guem Jan Di and Gu Jun Pyo of the Kdrama Boys Over Flowers.
My mom and I rode a bus going up the N Seoul Tower. From Chungmuro Station exit 2, wait for Namsan Sunhwan Bus No. 05. It cost around 850 KRW using T-money. We didn't expect that we will go on hike going to the location.
Thanks mom for this photo!
Finally, we reached our destination!
You can have your picture taken with print out for 5,000 KRW.
We had lunch at the Food Clock. Food priced reasonably.
Pork and Kimchi Soup
Omelet Rice with Tempura
Cute Korean kids having their field trip in Seoul Tower.
Cute padlock christmas trees!
You can buy your own padlocks here.
From Namsan, we decided to take the cable car going down because we're too lazy to walk again. Haha
One way ticket cost around 6,000 KRW.
Do you remember this place? This is where they shot the Boys over flowers. *fan girl mode* <3
I wasn't able to take any photo inside the cable car because I was kinda scared. But its all worth it because of the surreal view of autumn leaves. <3
Our next stop is the Gyeongbokgung palace which I will post soon!
Korea Travel Diary: Hongdae
Being an artist is a must to visit Hongdae. It is one of the most popular places for cafes, wall murals, fashion, and art festivals. You will enjoy everything you will see in each corner. One thing I like about Korea is they give dignity to art. Each piece they sell is a beautiful piece and good in quality.
One thing I love about traveling to other countries is PAPERS! Artbox is one of the cutest shop i saw in Hongdae. So many artsy stuff and notebooks. <3
I really want to buy this notebook but its already out of stock </3
In Mustoy, you can create your own little doll.
My mom and I was looking for a place to eat. We wanted to eat rice so we went to this restaurant because we saw a picture outside that they do sell rice. We didn't understand the menu board because its in Korean.
My mom wanted to have some ramen to warm her body up because its 7 °C outside. So eonnie gave us instant noodles.
We didn't understand each other because of the communication barrier. So I just told her we'll order the same with the other table.
Finally, rice! It was so delicious!
Then the cheese pizza came that was so delicious. We realized it was a set meal and it only cost about 21,100 KRW.
잘 먹었습니다! It means, Thank you for the meal!
Have you read my post about Hello Kitty Cafe, and Trick Eye and Ice Museum?
Trick Eye Museum
In Hongdae, one of the best attractions you must see is Trick Eye Museum. Its an art gallery of paintings that gives an illusion of 3D paitings. Each ticket cost around 15,000 KRW but we got it for only 12,000 KRW. Check their website for discount coupons: www.trickeye.com
They welcome guest from different countries through this ceramic dolls. How cute!
