i’ve got you down for lee taemin, but since we already have a reserve for metal polymorphism and the two intersect so heavily, we’re going to say that it’s already reserved. if you have another power in mind you’d like to reserve, just let us know !!! ( or if come application on the site, metal polymorphism doesn’t overlap with what you had in mind, you’re free to revisit it ! )

hi hi! so i noticed that on reserves that "darkness manipulation" and "umbrakinesis" are treated as two powers (since two different people reserved each), so i was wondering if someone could end up snagging "fire manipulation" even though pyrokinesis is already reserved? thanks a bunch!

hey there; thanks so much for the question! 

so, it’ll kind of be a case by case thing for the most part. even though both powers are reserved, we do require that during the application process they’ll be differentiated. there will be a spot in our application where power strengths, scope, and limits can be defined and classified, and whatever abilities the senior claim has (in this case: umbrakinesis) will define what abilities are available to the other power (in this case: darkness manipulation). for example, one could be able ‘generate’ darkness while the other is just manipulation. 

with pyrokinesis, we have other abilities available such as self ignition and flame breath, and with all of those of listed (and both pyro and self ignition reserved at this point), pyrokinesis and fire manipulation feel very much like the same thing without much room to set them apart, especially with self ignition also being a thing. 

we hope that makes sense and that y’all will be a little understanding because we of course don’t know every ability, nor are we experts. we’re just trying to give people flexibility while maintaining some level of individuality. 😔

oh, and on the site itself, we’ll also be more consistent on our naming schemes, which hopefully will help somewhat!
