Thankfully tumblr trolls aren't completely indicative of the US left if they are left at all (the way they go about things are rather Trumpian so there is some doubt) but unfortunately we're a little disenchanted at getting things done as well. I also love their defense of it as dark humor because since when is using that kind of humor when you're not the target of it supposed to be funny at all?

I mean, back when charlie hebdo was a thing people on here were like THEY DESERVED TO DIE FOR THEIR SO-CALLED DARK HUMOR WHICH ISN’T DARK HUMOR when it was generally aimed at... religious fundamentalists which you’d think is a category no one wants to stick their neck out for but when it’s this subject then suddenly dark humor is fine? like. again, if someone from the area jokes about it then it’s prob dark humor and they have all the prerogatives but if they’re not... yikes. I mean I do like dark humor a lot but that ain’t it, come on there’s some of that in a weird al song and the dude’s not even dark humor in general and I can’t listen to it anymore now let’s be real :/

How did I miss that my favourite fic writer is doing nano this year? Awesome and good luck! I'm doing it as well, prologue and chapter one complete but so, so much more to do. Is there a place where you've already talked about what you're doing for a project?

HA, so: like skyscrapers rising up, I'm not down (theon & davos, theon & robb) ie when I finally could write the gen of my dreams :P fun fact: I actually did watch all of that parliamentary debate in between thatcher & the opposition that they watch in the pub at the end. for science. I also made a liveblog on it somewhere either on twitter or fb or SOMETHING and I think I dragged a few people into giving it a look with me idk my memories are fuzzy. also I wrote that fic in a month where I had work three days per week and the training course for the entire weekend at the end so like it was either in the afternoons or in the only free day which was like THURSDAY and is2g never again X°DDD anyway I WATCHED THE THATCHER DEBATE ON A THURSDAY ALL OF IT. I still think it was eventually way more entertaining than GOT S8 ep. 3-6 ;) ;) ;)
