Whether it be by killer robots, talking dogs, time travel, or end-of-the-world apocalypses, something's always going on. But if she's learned anything after all that time, distance, and absurdity, it's that love is the answer to everything. Even if the people you spend your life with are just... the dumbest idiots in every timeline and alternate universe.

In light of season 4 and all the tragedy that came with it, here’s a link to my own ✨completed✨ rewrite of the umbrella academy (s1 & s2, with a sequel rewrite of s3 in the works!) that focuses heavily on found family, healing from trauma, and holding certain abusive father figures accountable instead of brushing everything under the rug. The family literally gets their own family therapist (and Mr. pennycrumb!) Add a dash of five/oc, so slowburn it takes multiple years to develop, and so many group hugs as they save the world, one mishap at a time. I have never loved writing a bunch of characters more than I did these guys ❤️ and I can’t wait to write more of them in the sparrow-filled sequel.
