There is a smile in the cold from those familiar twinges of the air, a voice he hasn't heard in awhile. The man turned to her, still tall as ever with the color in his palette a little more subdued like shadow. He had his hands in the pockets of a long cardigan, his hair still gold. His eyes, still as dark as the bottom of a well or long hallway of a warehouse.
"Not yet." he answers in a hush for her to hear before he smiles more, one that's a lil more welcoming. He comes forward in an easy stride, then immediately leans himself against Neff in a friendly and heavy nudge on her shoulder.
"Heeeeeey."
"Heeeyyyy~" She echoes back with a gentle chuckle attached tot he end of it. She finds herself bonking her head against his arm like a cat before looking back up at him. They always were a complimentary looking pair - his light colors and dark eyes with her darker colors and light eyes, especially the way hers seemed to glow under moonlight.
"Whatcha working on tonight? Anything in specific or just sending them out as you go along?"
She only has to be a little concerned, depending on if this situation will help her or make her job more difficult - though truth be hold even if it did give her more work it's not anything she can't handle.
Balder hums in thought, looking over the street that they are on for her to follow. "...There was a stabbing here. It was the one a couple mornings ago? I think?" he sways his head from side to side then sighs. "Saw it on the news." He waves a hand lazily towards the windows of the apartments, more Nightmares reaching and delivering their 'blessing' to the dreamers.
"You might have your work cut out for you. There's trauma here, so," he shrugs, though almost looked a little apologetic "it's gonna be saturated. Sorry."
