friday night at our go-to spot with our hands intertwined you’re not dressed to the nines but your laugh is warm like candlelight

and you drive me round town, see the city lights glow then you asked if you could take me home

and lying on your couch, that’s when i thought “i don’t need anymore”, ‘cause
